Skipped lunch, but made an apple and cinnamon cake so had a slice of that mid afternoon. Home made Lasagne for dinner.

We are getting v good at this cooking lark. I'm not! My repertoire remains 3 easy pasta dishes, frozen pizza, & re-heating things that my mother has previously cooked.

Leftover roast lamb and salad with mint dressing. Was yummy except I just realised as I finished that I forgot to put tomatoes on it. Having strawberry jelly for afters.

BurlyBeaR, I would kill for a slice of that cake now! :) I realised that I'd so enjoyed my 'bowl' lunch yesterday, and I had some leftover cooked rice, so I repeated it today, only made it 'Mexican' themed by adding some spices and black beans to the rice. I grated some carrots, cut some cucumbers and plum tomatoes and added a small can of tuna to the assortment. No dessert today. #sadmonday

Bagel with chorizo and cheese.
Trying to hold off on my homemade scones until a proper afternoon tea time but not sure I'll be able to resist the clotted cream for that long...

And I hope you do jam first. I did... About 10 minutes after that post. Then ate the rest of the tub of clotted cream as it had been open for a couple of days. Oops.

Work has been meeting after meeting after meeting today, so lunch was: instant ramen. And a row of dark G&B chocolate, for sanity and balance. :)

Left over cold pizza from last night. Had my first deliveroo yesterday for a change and a treat. Boy it's expensive. Over £25 for a pizza and some mozzarella sticks. Pizza was nice and quite big but I wouldn't spend that much on a pizza even in a restaurant. Plus it was only luke warm when it arrived. Wont be doing that again. I know people who live on deliveroo. Obviously a lot richer than me.

I had chips and fried onion, because I had an onion left over and I like fried onion, and because when you're an adult nobody gets to tell you that an onion isn't a proper dinner.

I know what I'd rather spend my money on. Bit difficult at the moment though.

So busy in work that it got to 3pm before I realised I should have had lunch! Promptly scoffed the last of the scones I made at the weekend.
Now realising I haven't got much in the house for dinner so it will probably be a sausage sandwich to power myself for several hours more at work.
Today is going so well...

Aren’t ciggies about £11 a packet these days? I bailed out when they were £4.50, that was bad enough!
Cheese and cucumber sandwich. Walkers ready salted. Classic.

I had pizza for lunch, pizza express ones were half price in Tesco this week though I’m sure they are never full price.

Was thinking of a BLT but someone had finished the bacon and I couldn't be bothered to defrost any, so had taramasalata and pitta bread with a bit of salad.

No lunch today, but a healthier version of the English breakfast for brunch: egg, toast, baked beans, a big cucumber salad with dill and cheese + 2 cups of coffee (before and after) + one shortbread biscuit, because I absolutely adore them (and it's Caturday!)

Rice and a homemade vegetables and tomato/coconut milk curry. I made a big batch, so I had it yesterday - when I added some peanut butter - and today I added some extra spices and extra coconut milk. I have some left for tomorrow too. I may turn into a coconut by the time I'm finished with all of it.
There will be some B&J for dessert.
