I'm quiet early into the season so i don;t know how it gets later on but strangely the one thing that i don't like is the biggest thing most people seem to like...the choreography. I find it all very cringey.

A little late to the party I do realise but I finally caught Episode 12, the season finale on Catch Up this afternoon. I don't want to give aways any spoilers for those who are yet to watch it but in terms of the main story lines, well, I predicted that. But in terms of the episode as a whole, again, slick choreography. It's clear that a lot of thought and sensitivity has gone into this in terms of the song choices, costumes and some really interesting camera angles- I'm thinking the overhead shot of the black umbrellas with the rain coming down The way the final song was performed was (simply) beautiful. Although an ensemble piece, each got to sing their part with heartfelt emotion. If I had to sit through 11 episodes to get to see the last one, then it was worth it. I, like the others hope there will be Season Two. According to this article, a show runner is 'cautiously optimistic' about a second season. So a main cast member will not be back for Season 2 due to a conflict in scheduling because of delays as a result of Covid.
I'm not gonna a say but a quick Google search will tell you and expand on the reasons why.

I watched it last night and yes I was very disappointed at that announcement. I have a lot of love for them. But it was a good episode and lovely to have it back 😀

Not seen any of the new series as yet but I just saw a tweet from Bernadette Peters with Mary Steenburgen saying how much she loves the show.

There's no transmission date released for S2 as yet, you may get lucky and E4 may repeat the first season in the run up to the new season starting. |

Unfortunately been announced that NBC are pulling it after two seasons. Really hope another network picks it up - I need a third season!

Oh that is a shame. It ended open to interpretation but definite scope for a third season. Fingers crossed someone else picks it up, there's a lot of talent there.

I thought Season 2 ended in such a great way,that it offered so much potential for the next season. It would be a huge shame if it doesnt get picked up elsewhere. Would seem like a great fit for Netflix.
