In line with government Coronavirus advice regarding social gatherings and social interaction, most theatres have suspended or will suspend performances until further notice.
If you visit this forum then theatre is of course very important to you but we are sure that we all understand that this was a necessary precaution and the inconvenience is small compared to what our country and the world faces as it battles this virus over the next weeks and months.
It's important in these times that we stick together as a community and remain positive. To that end, in the absence of theatre performances, we encourage all our members to generate and take part in lively discussion and have some fun. Some members have already started the ball rolling with creative ideas on how to make the best of the situation and keep our community going and we encourage more of this.
There is no doubt that we face uncertain and worrying times and we hope that you will all still be able to find a small amount of solace from our stagey community here.
We wish all our members the very best, especially those of you who work in the industry and now face some very difficult times as our theatres go dark, or if you are ill and have friends or family who are ill. And we of course wish the best of health to everyone going forward.
