Has anyone tried this when visiting London theatres? I'm considering it instead of leaving my car at the Underground station and using the tube when/if I go to see City of Angels in a couple of weeks (Weds evening show). I would prefer to prebook a space but you can get only get the 50% discount if you just turn up and take your car park entry ticket to be validated at the theatre. Are there usually spaces available? Thanks for any replies!

I’ve used the Chinatown one several times when seeing a show with my parents. It’s busy but we’ve never had trouble getting a space - though you may need to go further down and down into the bowels of the earth before you find lots of space available. We’ve always gone in on Sat matinees - don’t know if that makes a difference to availability of spaces...
Not sure which car park you’re going for, or if they’re all built the same, but for Chinatown definitely the smaller the car the better, as some of the turns are pretty tight otherwise!

Oh, I saw the subject and thought someone had invented a theatre-themed theme park.

I’ve used trafalger square car park for years always seems to have plenty of spaces these days They have changed the offer recently now though it’s only 50% off for first 3 hours 🤔😠 when before it was up to 24 you still save a bit though Check the theatre list also as not all take part .... I came out of an evening show once and forgot to get my ticket validated ran back but theatre had closed as had many so I went to the lion king that came down later they did it for me phew back then it was the whole day % so saved me £22
