Thanks for that DC - puts my mind at rest a little that they'll be valid!

I really liked this, and there's absolutely at least a fivers worth of theatre in it. Anyone who's not seen it should canter along to this free night anyway.

They've uploaded a great 360 video... {Spoiler - click to view} ...of the police chase before the end of act one.
Also for anyone who's interested and following the National on Facebook, George Ikediashi has live streamed the warm-up and his make-up routine. I would have totally caught the NTLive broadcast of this on Thursday if the tickets weren't more than what I paid at the theatre! If only they released NTLive productions on DVD

Unlikely, I know, but if anyone is watching the NT Live screening of this tonight at the cinema, do look out for me in the audience....dressed all in blue! 😉
I may rush the stage for guaranteed recognition. It's a credit!

I enjoyed it more last night I think than I did live. I had no idea Rosalie Craig was pregnant - she certainly wasn't showing when I saw it in the theatre. It added something quite sweet to the production I thought.
Watching last night I couldn't stop thinking how fabulous Haydn Gwynne's body language is. She uses her whole spine and body as part of her character, and the folds in the dress accentuated it even more. She's fabulous.

We are getting the encore broadcast on 15-16 October here in our small midwestern US college town. I saw this in London in July. Is the cinema broadcast worth viewing? (Assume I liked this when I saw it - because I did) Will it be edited for this re-broadcast the way the Billy Elliott rebroadcast was different from the live broadcast?

Anyone else there tonight, last show? I had seen a preview and knew that this would improve so booked for tonight. It has certainly matured. Loved it. They changed the ending somewhere along the line didn't they? That Rory Kinnear is really good. It was nice tonight, after they all left the stage after a very decent applause, the audience just kept on clapping and cheering for quite a few minutes til they all came back again for a standing ovation. They looked genuinely touched.

They don't edit between recordings and re-broadcasts, it's simply a replay of the same video. NTLive recordings tend to be very well put together, although I can't comment on this one.

Sorry to be bumping this up, but for anyone else who enjoyed this production, someone has uploaded 'Mack The Knife' I assume from the NTLive broadcast.
I so wish either this was on DVD or they released a cast recording!

This is a long shot...
I'm trying to find the music that played during the police raid right after the Tango-Ballad in this production. I'm really stuck, does anyone know if it's from something else? I can't find it in the score and I'm not finding it on any albums. I remember enjoying it and would like to hear it again is all.
