They're calling it "There's No Business Like Show Business"? Not "Stop The World—I Want To Get Off"?

Do you get a real singer singing the songs? The link isnt very clear.

Same here, any excuse to get to go on the London Eye for a tenner anyway, the music is an added bonus! I hope it's a live singer but whatever it turns out to be it'll be a memorable experience.

Thanks for the heads up, have booked. Taking my dad to see Ball and Boe in the evening, this will be a good start.

Ok, so is this becoming an unintentional TheatreBoard meet up? Are you all going to be in the same pod?

Just in case anyone doesn't know, you head for the London Eye ticket hall 30 minutes before your allotted time where you'll be checked into their VIP lounge. Certainly swankier treatment than I'm used to!

Well that was absolutely bloody fantastic. It was a live pianist accompanying Christina Tedders and sadly I didn't get the man's name (anyone else who goes on it today may be able to fill in). Phantom, Avenue Q and Mamma Mia amongst others all whilst taking in the magnificent views.

They seem to be running quite late as the 12 noon people have only just left the lounge and we have been told another hours wait.

Oh dear - I picked a late slot so I could go straight on to theatre. If it's running seriously late by the end of the day it could get rather tight...

That was so good. Really well organised. At first they said we were going to be late so offered us all a free drink which ended up as champagne cocktails. Lovely. But in the end only about 15 mins late and we got whisked past all the waiting queues. We had 2 singers and a pianist (talkingheads, I think he was called Andrew). Lots of lovely themed MT songs including Mary Poppins, Oliver etc on the way up and west end favourites like Phantom and Ave Q on the way down. Great views and lovely afternoon. As my matinee was cancelled and too late to get anything else sorted I came home and will do the washing instead 😁

I was the one who said I was meant to be going to Southwark Playhouse. Oh right! I was the one in the blue t-shirt with a picture of Victoria Wood on. Wasn't it a lovely experience? I had a great chat with the chap who led us into the pod, it seems out of all the themed pods that one was his favourite (except perhaps for the pub pod!)

We had singers Lawrence and Emma with pianist Andrew, and yes it was a lovely half hour. And they were back on time by 5pm!

Did a bit of googling and it was Robbie Noonan with Christina Tedders.

How many of us were on the 1PM yesterday? It was great wasn't it, Seems crazy we paid 1/3 of the normal price and that went to charity anyway. I was a little jealous of the doughnuts in the sweet treats pod but seeing defying gravity as a duet while flying over London was an experience I am sure we will not soon forget. I managed to get to my matinee of Comedy About a Bank Robbery with 10 minutes to spare!

How many were on each flight? I was surprised that there were only 4 of us - made for a wonderfully intimate experience (and we all got a seat)

Would have been lovely to have said hi to each other. I was talking to a couple of ladies in the bar area before who had booked the sweet treat one and said they wished they had booked the musical one but were worried that there would be audience participation.
