On a different note I wonder if they will just reproduce the 2020 Panto as there were so few performances that very few people have seen it. I was lucky enough to actually see it. I suspect that is what will happen with a tweak or two. No point creating a new show from scratch when you have an existing set and script.

Well with respect, I'd argue Biggins is a far bigger draw than Paul Zerdin or Gary Wilmot. And Biggins was King of the Jungle once. On a different note I wonder if they will just reproduce the 2020 Panto as there were so few performances that very few people have seen it. I was lucky enough to actually see it. Alec10, Assuming it's basically the 2020 Panto, with added lyrics and lines tweaked for Donny Osmond, do you remember who played the Donny Osmond part in 2020?

Elaine Paige. 😀 Seriously though it looks like all the male cast are back again with the exception or Diversity and Charlie Stemp so I guess they will write some new stuff for him. Or he could just do a couple of songs which is basically what Beverly Knight did last year.

Paige's "We Know Dick So Well" duet with Julian Clary in "Dick Whittington" was the single funniest thing I've seen in a Palladium Pantomime! I struggle to imagine Donny Osmond being as game as Elaine Paige for this sort of thing, as I recall him slamming Lady Gaga for making a rude music video. I hope I'm wrong and he's happy to duet to "Any Dick will Do" with Clary (which would bring the house down every night) but I can more easily imagine him just singing "Puppy Love" every night, with Clary whispering to the audience that "it isn't about puppies." Anyway, I'm open minded. I hope he sends himself up mightily. 🤞🍀😁

LW Theatres are advertising this on Facebook already and calling Danny Osmond "the greatest entertainer on earth".
Some claim.

Interesting that National Lottery funding is involved again.
Priority booking opens tomorrow at 10am. General booking from 10am on Tuesday.

I assume that because the production and other pantos was cut short, they didn't use all the money given to them by the Lottery but I assume they'll be using it in different ways.

In the Pantoland queue. Anyone managed to get through yet? Yes, just trying to pick myself up off the floor after seeing the pricing.

My link was designated as spam by my computer and it took me a while to realise. so I've only just joined the queue. Over 5000 ahead of me. Don't remember it being like this in previous years.
Is this the power of "The Donny" ?

Is this the power of "The Donny" ? They are all desperate to hear his new song: "And I call it Panto Love...."

I've a hunch that the presence of a pop star will make seats in the front row much more difficult to get. I'm going to leave it if I can't get the seats I want. I've learnt from shows like Frozen and Singin' In The Rain that it can pay to wait till nearer the time to book.

I've just managed to book front row for the matinee on the 21st! They're definitely out there and this isn't selling out anywhere near as quick as I thought it might!

Well, I've booked for what I presume is Opening Night on Thursday 9 December. Maybe I'll get to sit near the Krankies again!
But it is just a very cheap seat (relatively speaking) at the back of the Stalls. The side Stalls aren't on sale yet for any dates and they tend to also be better value. I may well book something else as and when better deals emerge.
So many rows have exactly two seats available (including the front) which is not good for single theatregoers as you can only attend as a pair. But yes, they are definitely trying to make up for lost income with this one!

I’ve learnt to use multiple devices and my phone got straight in. I’ve gone for dead centre in the front row of the upper circle for £25. Would have paid a bit more to move downstairs but not £65!

I'm seeing more or less the same availability for every performance I've checked so far. Seems only a fairly small percentage of seats have been put into the presale. No decent single seats either.

Anyone know which row of the upper circle has step free access to the corridor? Sounds weird but we had row a or b seats last time and the steps are steep down to them (stairs up to the upper circle are fine)

Having given up at 10.45 I tried again at 11.30, no queue and got the *exact seats I wanted for a matinee in less than 2 minutes.
I'm giving up on joining a queue in future for these sort of presales. Too stressful, and three times now I've got the seats I wanted after the queue cleared.
*It's only because I'm (too) fussy about where I sit though - needed two out of only six possibles in the front row stalls. There's plenty of availability generally.

I don't know for certain but that one is around Row E/F far right side (lowest numbered seats)

For last year's Pantoland -- my show was cancelled -- I had Stalls row C centre for £79.50. This year, that would have been £99.50, so roughly a 25% increase.
I went for row B centre at £89.50. Wonder how much Mr Osmond is getting of that. (I'm going in spite of his casting rather than because of it.)
For the performance I looked at, there were five £65.00 seats on the front row, three to the left of the left aisle, and two to the right of the right aisle. They might appeal to some. Obviously with dynamic pricing, prices and pricing block shapes will vary.
My booking session wouldn't load properly in Internet Explorer, but fortunately I had a Chrome session not far behind that worked.
Mine was a Chrome desktop experience. Other devices and browsers will no doubt behave differently.
The system is not intuitive. After selecting a date/time from the calendar, the first panel of the next screen to load is a column on the left that invites you to select the number of tickets. Ignore this unless you want seats to be picked for you. Instead, wait for the seating plan on the right to load -- it does eventually (after between 10 and 60 seconds I was finding) -- then select directly.
On my first attempt, I entered that I wanted two tickets, the seating plan then appeared, and I selected my two seats, only to discover I now had four, as there were two other seats selected for me, hidden off the bottom of the screen.
UPDATE: Just checked several dates, and this opening sale appears to have identical pricing for every single show.

You've explained most of the problems I had earlier, I thought it was just my computer playing up. I also made the mistake of selecting one and then two tickets and found three reserved for me in row F totalling almost £450.
