SweatyOracle seemed to think it was Sherie Rene Scott as Audrey and Nicholas Christopher as Seymour.

Sherie Rene Scott is quite an experienced actress with a strong voice.

Sounds great!
How have the Audreys in this production been? Tammy Blanchard on the cast recording sounds so disinterested it sits on my "cast recordings from hell" list, but was that an aspect of the direction?
They should make an updated one or something. It's well produced but the horrid overuse of pitch correction to suck out all emotion and nuance from cast performances and some baffling line readings leaves a very emotionless, robotic album that I have no pleasure in listening to, which is the total opposite to how the show actually is in person lol

It's well produced but the horrid overuse of pitch correction to suck out all emotion and nuance from cast performances and some baffling line readings leaves a very emotionless, robotic album that I have no pleasure in listening to, which is the total opposite to how the show actually is in person lol I totally agree about the cast recording. Jonathan Groff is great, but Tammy Blanchard's choices are baffling and the tempos are way too slow. It's a shame, because in person this is a great production and the new arrangements sound brilliant (and pacy) in the theatre. They've also had some wonderful Audreys. Not least Joy Woods, who was exactly what this production needed: a fresh, new take on Audrey. I think it's what Blanchard was trying to do, but it comes across as trying too hard to avoid "doing an Ellen Greene" instead of just being her own version of Audrey, which is what Woods did. Check out any of her performances of 'Suddenly Seymour' online. I wish they'd re-recorded the album with Joy Woods and Jeremy Jordan. It would have been so much stronger.

Thinking about seeing this tomorrow night. Would anyone recommend? With a friend just in town for one more night. We saw sunset the other night so looking for something else just before we go back home.
We also considered Hell’s Kitchen, Tammy Faye, the Notebook or once upon a mattress. Any recommendations/thoughts would appreciated? Thanks in advance 😊
