The big day hasn't arrived (just yet) so it's still not too late to say this
MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!
I hope you've all been good boys and girls and that Santa comes and that you all get what you wished for.
I hope that your celebrations to date have no been too festive- take that as you will- and if you are travelling (especially on the roads) please take care. We want to see you all back on this board next year.
I want to also take this opportunity to thank the board moderators for their hard work throughout the year.
Whatever it is that you do on the big day- with family or with friends- be safe, be well!

Yes I echo those thoughts. I hope you all have a great Christmas and New Year. For those who have to work over the festive period I hope you still manage to find those festive moments!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.
Love reading the myriad of opinions here, without all of you my Theatre life would be diminished and the heads up on offers have been literally invaluable.
Special mention must go to the Admin Team, they do a great job keeping us all in check, a thankless task but much appreciated.
Here’s to 2020 and the delights it will undoubtably bring.

Happy Holidays everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful time however you spend this time of year. I agree happy holidays everyone. If the little baby Jesus was born today, he would be surrounded by organic coffee, freshly prepared sandwiches, subs, salads and freshly baked pastries. He would be born in a Pret A Manger.

Thanks antony40 for starting this thread and thanks everyone for making this a such a helpful, interesting and funny Board. A Very Happy Christmas to us all and I hope the New Year brings us plenty of good theatre, theatre disagreements and wit to savour.
Just to say, that if anyone is having a miserable or difficult time, then come on the Board, we will be around ready to cheer you on. Other members might be in your area and able to meet up.

It’s a little quieter here these days, and I’ve not posted much this year due to time constraints (rubbish excuse as read everyday!). Thank you to the administrators and posters for all the wonderful tips, reviews and discussions over the year. Onwards and upwards to 2020 and a new decade.

Merry Christmas and (soon) a happy new year to all of you on my favourite island (and beyond) from the continent.
I'd like to add my own thanks to the mods, but also to my fellow board members for making this such a lovely and overall peaceful friendly place to hang out in.

Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year to all of you - my comments on stage shows have been kept to a minimum over the last four or five months because to tell the truth, there has been next to nothing that has interested me (especially given the rapidly increasing prices of tickets for shows) and I have also been looking to move to a new job recently so booking as much as I have in recent years hasn’t been at the top of my agenda but I’m hoping to be back with a vengeance in 2020 - I hope you all have an amazing festive season.

Merry Christmas(time) one and all ... and thanks for all the shows I've loved in 2019 (and before) that I'd have missed but for recommendations from the good people here! Here's to another bumper year in 2020 😊

Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays! (I think that covers everybody?)
Thanks to the mods for all your hard work.
Looking forward to 2020 and visiting a few theatres I haven't been to before (Sheffield Crucible, Leeds Playhouse, Savoy London).

Well, I've somehow managed to survive another year without getting barred. It's only a matter of time, surely?
Merry Christmas to one and all. 🎄 🎁 Thanks for all the bantz and the bargains, and a special thank you to all the mods for your hard work and oversight.
In the words (almost) of local leg-end Jarvis Cocker, let's all meet up in the year two thousand...and twenty!!! 🎆

Hope everyone on here has a great Christmas and a wonderful 2020.
We may disagree on somethings but good discussion is always healthy and we all share a love of theatre.

Special thanks to anthony40 for this thread. Happy holidays to one and all... To the mods...it is often a thankless task,I imagine but thank you for your fairness, grace and equanimity in all matters.Special mention to those who deliver the long thoughtful and detailed reviews on the site and to those who bring the humour and comedy to the site. Here’s to Hello Dolly,Sunday In The Park,Be More Chill,Prince Of Egypt,Pretty Woman and all the old favourites who will be delighting us in 2020 in the WE and finally, break a leg to all those going out on tours around the country. My one wish is that regional theatres big and small have a better year than this one which has been a struggle for some.🎄🎄🎄
