Are they only doing E-Tickets for this? That is certainly the only option they gave me. Call me old fashioned, but I like a physical ticket.
I haven't had a physical ticket from The Old Vic in a while. It's a shame, nothing to go in my collection afterwards
I don't have a smartphone or printer, just an aging wifi-only ipad, so not keen on the push for e-tickets. But I know from seeing Present Laughter and Lungs there that they do still print them off if you take your order number to the box office.

I’m collecting my tickets at the box office after buying on Today Tix, so i’m hoping that guarantees an actual ticket.

Just ask the box office. When booking through the Old Vic website you're forced into an e-ticket. You can phone them in advance and ask them to print you a ticket for collection. Or you can turn up and get them to print you a ticket on the day. If you book a ticket through someone that isn't the Old Vic, you will have a ticket for collection as usual. Hope that clears the system up for everybody.

I was looking to change the date I'm going to this, but it looks like the entire run is now completely sold out (unless the OV website is playing up). Will need to take my chances with the PwC previews...

Are there any limits on how many PWC tickets you can purchase? Two per customer.

First goal seems to be to draw fewer than one place in the queue per mile ..

Sat here on 3986.
Gutting.
I've not tried for these PwC previews for a few years and always got in really quickly in the past, so this is an unhappy experience.
Ah well.

Not in the queue today but noticed that after an initial highish number and slow countdown in the National queue last week it soon sped up most probably due to people having multiple browsers open and therefore 1 person can take up many slots.
Not tried the multiple browser method for the Old Vic but would be surprised it didn’t happen.
Forever the optimist, don’t give up just yet.

Given that most people will buy two tickets, if you're below 1500 or so there isn't much point hanging around, is there?

Got lucky pulling 302, just got 2 tickets, not together but both in Row J of the stalls, for the third performance. At this point the availability looked good and the website ran smoothly so it might be worth hanging in there a bit. As NeilVHughes says above people do have multiple browsers open.
