Ew. Seussical doesn’t appeal much! What’s leading you to that conclusion? Just the magical bit or is it to do with the blue feathers?

I'm pretty sure there is a song called Anything is Possible, or that's the lyrics to one of the numbers. And the feathers fit into Seussical too.

Thought they looked more like petals than feathers.

For some reason I get a Mary Poppins vibe, but I don’t think that would be a possibility

“The most magical of musicals” is quite a claim though isn’t it? If someone asked you “what is the most magical musical” what would you say? None of the most obvious answers seem likely.

Every time HM punt out “what would you like to see” questions on Twitter i always say Xanadu. I don’t think anyone’s listening though 😡

Would love to see HM do Toxic Avenger. Saw it at the SWP a few years ago and really enjoyed it.

The Secret Garden? There's petals and strange things happen (inc ghosts called Lily and Rose) with magical and mythical undertones - though calling it the most magical of musicals might be a claim too far.

This could be a stretch but My Fair Lady? I feel like it's pretty magical, in other ways. Eliza is a flower girl?

Teaser this morning.... any ideas? It reminds me of Cinderella - with blue being the colour of her ball gown, plus there is a song in the R&H version called "It's Possible" which would make sense!

Yeah I'm going with R&H Cinderella. Jonathan O Boyle has just directed the semi staged concert at Cadogan Hall. He's also previously worked with Katy Lipson and the Hope Mill on Pippin and Hair. I think it could be right.
