Do you think they might have Ramin Karimloo? Surely he's due back from Broadway and he has that brilliant half pop half MT voice. I'm so excited about this - my finger is poised on the booking button already!
Hopefully Rammy's been fingered....

I can’t help thinking that some people are going to be very, very disappointed when casting is eventually announced...

Must be Katherine Jenkins if it's as disappointing as you say!

In what way?
That they are musical theatre names and not big stars?
OR
that they are household names that some of the more sniffy amongst us won't rate?

Must be Katherine Jenkins if it's as disappointing as you say! LOL! Just to clarify... I know nothing at all! I’m just saying that with all these wishlists flying around, there are going to be a lot of unhappy bunnies! And if Miss Jenkins is announced after I’ve bought my tickets, what are my chances of getting a refund? (Because I won’t stand a chance reselling them as returns!)

I hope it is people who are from the field of musical theatre, as they will do the rolls justice and they won't sell tickets and won't have to pay £150 to get in.
Versus a ***Star*** who will not play the roles well, (unless you're Glenn Close) but sell tickets, so I have to pay a handsome price to get in and afraid Katherine Jenkins falls in this category, what does ENO hope to achieve by casting Katherine 2 years running?

For those who enjoyed the CRH tour, this just popped up on my Facebook memories as I'd gone to see it seven years ago today. I actually really liked it and it was one of the few actor/musicians productions I've seen that I enjoyed.

Fantastic news
I love Chess and was lucky enough to see it in the first couple of weeks of it's original west end run
Does anyone know, is this in addition to the rumoured Broadway return, instead of, or will this transfer to Broadway?
Just need too decide if I go for this or wait for Broadway as I can't afford both :-(

Wow. I’m waiting for casting info. I love Chess and I’d want decent seats for this, but not at £105 stalls until I know who I’m seeing.

Quite stonkingly expensive at the ENO: Stalls all £105, except premiums £150 and 2 rows at the back £80. Dress Circle: 2 rows of £150, rest £105, row K £80, L £65. Upper Circle: £80, £65 at sides and G centre back, £50 back row. Balcony: £35, £25 from F back, just the outermost side block corners from H at £15. That's me out then. For Sunset I was happy to sit up in the balcony but this time I'd have to take my hubby and there's no way he'd fit in those seats. All the rest are way too expensive for me. 😕

Disgusting really isn’t it?
I dont have the option of sitting in the cheap seats either. It’s tantamount to discrimination against bears! 😡🐻

For Sunset didn’t they hold back row A of the stalls and put them on sale on the day for half price?

They were struggling to sell out the a) cheaper b) better known c) featuring an Hollywood A-Lister Sunset Blvd, so I can't see this selling like hot cakes unless they get someone like Adele to star. So I think I'll wait for offers.

Wow and I thought Hamilton was expensive. Looks like I'll have to buy balcony tickets and hope I get upgraded like Carousel.

So I think I'll wait for offers. Totally. They are delusional if they think that Chess is a big enough name alone to sell at those prices. People will be expecting stars that command big fees!

Love Chess but not sure if I can justify over £100.

I know someone who has a recall for one of the principal roles so definitely not all cast at this point.

Blimey oh Riley! Those prices are eye watering. Sat in balcony for Sweeney and it was horrible so for Sunset got DC first time and Stalls second time but only paid £75 each time and I'm not doing balcony again.

That pricing is utterly ridiculous.
I would never pay 3 figures for a seat at any show, so balcony it is for me!
