The current triple bill of Concerto, Enigma Variations and Raymonda Act III is rather special, especially enigma which still works its' powerful emotional hold. The simplicity with which the Nimrod variation is staged is quite devastating. I'm sure I was not the only one in tears.

I totally agree. I saw Enigma several years ago and remember not being that impressed. Not so this time - it was quite wonderful and showed yet another aspect of Ashton's genius. In fact all three ballets were very impressive and made one of the most satisfying ever triple bills. The Royal Ballet, at the moment, are at the very top of their game.

Loved this triple bill too. Saw it on Saturday and was very impressed. Osipova and Muntagirov were absolutely wonderful.
