This is a fringe/small-scale show, currently on tour around the UK (mostly the north, but it's coming to London and Leicester). It's a 75-ish minute pastiche/parody of the story of Richard III, with three actors playing all of the many roles. In a similar manner to The 39 Steps, James Beglin 'merely' plays Richard, with Jessica McDonagh and Kris W Laudrum playing everyone else, through some inspired use of wigs and accents, and the occasional remarkably quick change. The programme and flyer etc are at pains to note that this is definitely not historically accurate, so if that's the sort of thing that would put you off, this probably isn't for you. I found it very interesting and funny, and I'm still considering the actual historical reality the next day. Go in knowing that this is a low-budget fringe show, and match your expectations to that, and you'll probably enjoy it. Details of the tour dates here: jessicamcdonagh.wixsite.com/everyeggabirdtc/2019-tourExcept for London, where it's playing on the 28th and 29th at the Etcetera London: www.etceteratheatre.com/?id=2&wod=10/28/2019
