Is anyone else on here watching Succession? It's fantastic - I've been waiting for HBO to do their long-mooted I,Claudius remake but this will do nicely, a sort of King Lear with a Murdoch-type media clan, Peep Show's Jesse Armstrong as showrunner and writers including Lucy Prebble on the scripts. It's on Sky/Now TV in the UK (available till early December). I'm currently 8 episodes in to series 1 so no spoilers please!

I got the DVD of series 1 because we don't have sky. I’m trying to work out how to watch series 2. Any suggestions gratefully received or shall I just wait for the DVD ?
Anyway, agreed, excellent tv, well up there with Sopranos [tho no gore] and other stuff but it won’t necessarily claim a top spot because those other series were much longer. Nice to see a couple of Brits showing ‘em how to act too. Not to mention as you say, crowblack, the Lucy Prebble input.

lynette the best bet is a 1 month subscription to NowTV for about £8. A lot of TV’s have the App and can easily be watched on a computer, there are offers of NowTV sticks with a months subscription included but most probably not worth it for a one off. I’m sure there are more questionable ways if you are happy to watch on a computer.

Yes, I did that for Game of Thrones but ended up keeping it because there are a lot of other things on there too (The Deuce is good though I haven't caught up on series 2 yet, and 3 is out any time now). A couple of months in I was sent a free little Roku box to watch through the TV and they may repeat that offer - I don't think either the computer or TV versions are in HD yet though.

I got Now TV recently as I don't have SKY either and am very pleased with it.

I've just finished bingeing so I am now free to look up stuff without fear of spoilers. Btw, I noticed Lucy Kirkwood and Alice Birch's names in the credits too.

So it is on Nowtv or is that just a platform for getting to it? It's on Now TV, which has Sky and HBO content 'box sets' though they come and go. Succession is available on Now for the next three weeks, with 20 episodes in all. I don't know what offers are on at the moment but they sometimes do a free trial period, and you can always sign off again anyway (they don't tie you to a long contract).

Some research around t'internet - it is on Amazon Prime so I bought it. O reckless moi. More expensive than your suggestion, Neil but I couldn’t get Nowtv on my tv cos it doesn’t have or can get that app being Panasonic ( tell me about it) and so I would have had to but a diddleboo. Couldn’t be bothered...
just to say it is a very good series.
