If a gay actor who had been hounded and abused by Christians his whole life and hates them with every fibre of his being was offered a role playing a gay hating Christian, should he be allowed to play the role if he chose to? Imagine if we changed every single aspect of the situation, would that require a different approach? Riddle me that liberals! |

I really hope Christian Concern live up to their name and cover the costs for Omooba. She is clearly an extremely foolish girl who will be living with the consequences of her actions for years to come, but I still don’t believe she deserves to have her entire life destroyed because of this.

I can't see how her career can survive. She's now theatre poison. I just read through the employment tribunals findings posted above, and it makes clear reference to the fact that she can't even get an agent let alone book a job. Sometimes when I see the gleeful posts I feel a bit bad for her, having her entire life torn asunder by beliefs she was brought up in, but reading through the whole case just made me feel that there were several points she could have turned back, and this outcome is mostly of her own creation. The other enjoyable factoid was that basically everyone involved in the case apart from her is gay. |
