I had forgotten about this. If I recall correctly, our own mrbarnaby mentioned ages ago that this was having a very belated transfer / remounting. Indeed! I gather however that it all rests on star casting and (surprise surprise) the huge names they have offered it to, have all said no. Interesting! I have heard recently with some certainty that this is going ahead with Hadley and Tam back as Stine & Stone, is there any truth to that??

I have heard recently with some certainty that this is going ahead with Hadley and Tam back as Stine & Stone, is there any truth to that?? Surely Tam would stay with Moulin Rouge? I do hope this comes through, really enjoyed it when I saw it, that being the first performance (of I think three) when Caroline Sheen stepped in and played Katherine Kelly’s part with less than 24 hours notice.

Great news. This show was too cramped in the Donmar space, but 6 months is very ambitious.

Interesting that the Garrick is getting back to back musicals with this and The Drifters Girl although I'm not sure how the latter will do as it's also doing a long run at 20 weeks.

Wait mrbarnaby does this mean Vanessa Williams was secondary star casting or they managed to persuade her?! I don’t know a lot about this musical and didn’t see it back in 2014 but I like the look of the cast 👍

Always loved the score and saw it at the Donmar. 2020 starting to look like another busy and expensive year.

Really pleased with this! I was hoping that the rumbling was true, as I missed the Donmar production, and all I heard was good about it! Fab to see so much of the old cast returning, with the added addition of Vanessa Williams!

Completely painless booking for this, managed to get the seats and performances I wanted, and sorted my Evita ticktes at the same time in another window. I'm so glad that it's coming back, I loved it at the Donmar!

Row A is closest to stage currently on sale and I've just booked a seat there but I note there are two rows of seats further forward on the seating plan, AA and BB.
Can anyone advise (theatremonkey?) how likely it is that they will be added later ?

I looked at tickets just after 10 and there were loads, now each show looks the same, so it looks like a lot of tickets have been allocated out already! Might wait till a bit closer to the time to get tickets, with it being a slightly longer run!

Just booked E17 in the Upper Circle for £20 on March 6th - seemed not to be restricted too much based on SeatPlan reviews

An FYI for anyone wanting to book the first preview - it's March 5th but weirdly not on sale yet. I've called the Garrick and Nimax customer service this morning and haven't been given a concrete answer as to why tickets are only on sale from the 6th so will just be keeping an eye on the site!

Can't book until I know a bit more about where I'm going to be next year, but I'm certainly not going to miss this. And I may very well see it more than once, it's probably my favourite Cy Coleman score.

I've booked F1 in the stalls for August. Don't mind missing a little bit of the side. Now, I'll have to dig out my old cassette of the original WE soundtrack!

I'm not in a massive hurry to see this as I wasn't blown away by at the Donmar. I'll wait for offers

I loved this at the Donmar, what wonderful news it’s coming back! Vanessa Williams is clever casting: the Ugly Betty and Desperate Housewives fans will surely take note. I wonder if a cast recording might happen?

As much as I hate the Garrick, I booked to see this again because it was lovely.
