Despite the awful music, poor sound balance and too much humour in the 2nd act I really liked this. Top marks from me!

Oooh please let me know how Liam Tamne is. I can't imagine him being anything like Ash Hunter in the role and I was hoping to catch him on Wednesday (but alas was struck down by rona).

Watching on Now TV, Carry On Wuthering Heights seems an apt description. It's hard to take any of it seriously,
Edit - gave up after about 40 mins. Maybe it was better live but this didn't work for me at all. Very cringe, like how people who hate theatre imagine theatre to be

Almost walked out of this when I saw it live. Enjoyed some of the music but other than that, it really didn't connect with me. Interested in more people's thoughts who saw the recording though.

There's something so dated about the work of Emma Rice. She uses her same bag of tricks at every show. I like my theatre to be made by artists who actually care about the characters and story thank you.
