I managed to buy two just after I got the email around maybe 9am. A friend also tried, picked a seat and by the time she tried to pay it was full price. She then found one for another day. I wondered if they'd made a mistake calling them £10 tickets and maybe it was meant to be £10 off? It seemed like within 10 to 15 minutes of me getting tickets you couldn't get them any more. Why they were emailing out the offer later in the day I don't understand, I only ever got it once.
I started to worry it was a scam as it seemed too good to be true but I seem to have only paid £20 for two tickets. The confirmation email just wasn't exactly as I'd have expected, mentioned a different company on there so a bit confusing.

I received the same offer earlier in the week and this time it worked a treat. Got two front row seats, were around £78 each reduced to £10. Brings me up to 20 shows booked in January already

Wow, I wish I was on the right mailing list as though I had no plans to see this again (I saw only the Rhys Ifans version 2 years ago), the reviews and comments have made me think that a return visit would be worthwhile - and uplifting.

TodayTix Boxing Day sale has started, selection of shows is not too bad but a lot of the usual suspects are up there! Seat allocations again are just okay but still worth a look, I’ve managed to pick up Row T stalls for City of Angels for £20 and Row Y stalls for Prince of Egypt for £30 so pretty happy.

I see that sale includes Zorro at Cadogan Hall on 23 February. which I haven't seen discounted elsewhere. Decent seats for £30. I do prefer sales where you can see all the available seats and their (reduced) prices. Not keen on offers where you select a price and just get offered something.

Anybody get any good Boxing Day deals? I got the ATG Card and subsequently £10.50 seats to Dial M For Murder at Richmond, very happy with that, the card has half paid for itself already! That's the only sales shopping I'm doing though, obscene that the shops are open (my local Next reported queues from 5AM! Poor staff!)

I've been trying to buy a single ticket to Phantom through the Official London Theatre sale for DAYS now and keep getting the same error message 'Temporary Error - cannot connect to box office, please try again later'. Is it ever going to work or shall I give up?!

I just tried using my phone and had no problem selecting a single seat. Went as far as the payment screen. Don't give up as there are plenty of good £40 and £30 seats still available.

I'm afraid it ends today, but for the next few hours Nottingham Playhouse still has a 20% off sale.
Use promo code: BOXINGDAY19
Includes Piaf with Jenna Russell, and early performances of Identical.

It went a bit quite during panto season, but there are now a load of theatre offers back on Travelzoo, including: Curtains in Leicester and Blackpool, Joseph in Chesterfield, Buddy in Stoke, Woman in Black and Educating Rita in Portsmouth, Ten Times Table and Once in York.
I'm particularly angry about the latter, as I've already paid more to see it locally, from a much worse seat!

I was already planning to go to Once in York, but hadn't booked anything. So. Now is clearly the time to take advantage and find some likeminded people for a day trip to Once in York! Also, sorry to hear you already paid more...

You've obviously found it, but sometimes the secret with Travelzoo is to search first for 'Theatre', and then for 'Opera'. The results can often be different!

As you're going to York this weekend, @irisjerenboog, and London the weekend after, you probably won't want to know about the Travelzoo offer for The King & I in Hull. If it's any consolation, it's only available for weekday performances...though Hull is only an hour by train, and fares are just about affordable if booked in advance with a railcard.

A trip to Hull is going to be difficult to fit in Too bad, because I haven't seen The King and I yet! Maybe next time...

I'm sorry I misspelt your name, irisjeregenboog! I suspected as much, but thought I'd bring it to your attention anyway...just in case. This is, by all accounts, a critically acclaimed production of a rarely toured musical. According to the not always reliable internet, the last UK tour was in 2011/12. I think it must be all those kids! I deliberately missed the Manchester and Leeds legs of the tour, so I could see it in comfort at the far superior Hull New Theatre.

No worries TallPaul ! Thanks for the tip though! Keep 'em coming as far as I'm concerned Still figuring out how to deal with all these amazing shows here! When I was still living in Zurich (almost 1.5 months ago now!), The King and I was also on tour there, but I decided I couldn't go there either (way too busy with work). So in the end, The King and I is one of those would-be-nice-to-see-once-but-not-necessary musicals for me. Of course, that might change the instant I see it, but that will have to wait a little while more. You have made me very curious about Hull New Theatre though... hm... maybe I should plan a trip to the seaside in the coming year as well

There's an ATG thearecard offer on for Cabaret at Wimbledon for Tues-Thursday performances next week. It's the 'Share the Love' ticket offer. £58 seats down to £28 £48 down to £24 £40 down to £20 The Upper Circle seats are all down to £11-£15 with the offer. Although it's selling so badly it might even be worth getting and UC ticket and hoping to be upgraded.

£15 / 25 / 35 tickets on TodayTix for Everybody’s Talking About Jamie. They seem to have a different show on the £15 24 hour deal most days so it’s worth checking daily.

It seems that tickets for the tour of Beaufiful are not exactly flying out of box offices. Travelzoo has offers for Woking next week, and Bradford and Sunderland in March.
There are also offers for Million Dollar Quartet in Southampton and Edinburgh, Ghost Stories in York and that John Cleese farce in Peterborough.

Lots of fantastic deals on Today Tix ‘London Theatre Week’.. bagged tickets for Be More Chilled, Waitress, Poppins, City of Angels and Dear Evan Hansen. Credit card took a bashing, but lots of great theatre now lined up without panicking over rush tickets and lotteries. 😆
