Second interval and I am absolutely loving this! Can't believe how they can dance in such a small space!

Was there at final matinee. What a talented cast and they put over the show in an amusing manner. The dancing and harmonies were outstanding. The setting at Menier is delightful - I had not been before, but will certainly consider going to other productions. Lucky Toronto residents!!

I know the Toronto run has been cancelled. Was it scheduled to play in the US as well?

This production was to replace the pulled production of Hello Dolly. The Boyfriend came into make up for the shortfall in the season’s subscription. Now the theatre operator and other operators in the US cannot fulfil their obligation to have 5/6 shows in their package. I wonder how the operators go to make good their obligation?

It is a shame that the people in Toronto, Canada, will not be able to see this charming show. Had this been successful in Canada, perhaps it may even have gone on to the neighbouring country of the US.

The theatre operator - Mirvish productions, based in Toronto, CANADA - don't ever lump it in with the US while you're actually there, they'll run you out of town with pitchforks and burning torches - is offering customers three options: a refund, an exchange for a ticket to another show, or a credit note to use for a show in next year's season.

As charming as the show was at the Menier, it would have been lost in a theatre that big.

Yes. It might have worked in somewhere like the Winter Garden, but the Princess of Wales is far too big for it.
