If he was chocolate, he'd eat himself (as they say).

Of course Shenton slid into my mentions. Have some class Shents and we wouldn’t be (not) having this conversation...

Shenton is like the Piers Morgan of the theatre world. Hypocritical, bigoted, and followed by an army of fools.
Not related to this, but it seemed beyond disrespectful that he basically live tweeted his mums death a few months ago.....

Ugh did he? I unfollowed him a long while ago. We all deal with such things in our own way, but there is a time to put twitter down.

Oh excuse you Mark Shenton?! Not only is that generally a bit rude for anyone to say 'nah f*** it' if an understudy is on. But someone with his 'influence' (I use the term loosely) should not be tweeting such things. To be fair though, I get his point. When he cuts his hair, I'd climb Oliver Tompsett like I was scaling Everest. Natalie missing both shows tomorrow and the Friday show for those wanting to see either her or Suzie. Pah. So much for my plans tonight: she's off! So I'm going to stay in at home and have a night off instead....!

So me and my friend have just sold out tickets to the closing night. In complete truth, alongside train issues and stuff, after 42nd Street closing, I just can't do another closing so soon and I'm still emotionally exhausted after last Saturday I can't do that again. So pathetic. Our tickets literally sold in minutes of us putting them on sale, so clearly there are fans who still need cheap tickets!

I'm not surprised you sold them so quick, I've seen so many people online looking for tickets, and I definitely wouldn't be shelling out £200 for a ticket! Luckily I bought mine minutes after they announced the closing at a 'bargain' £69.

This time around though, I'm just not feeling it, and I wouldn't want to sit there and feel meh whilst there are people out there dying to go. I love the show, always will do of course, but this one ima have to give a miss.

Are the chances of winning the lottery on a Friday night low or high?? Also, do they give unsold other seats to people who didn’t win the lottery?

Are the chances of winning the lottery on a Friday night low or high?? Also, do they give unsold other seats to people who didn’t win the lottery? Chances I'd imagine will be fairly slim as all the fans will be entering. In my experience, the lottery is strictly front row however they have offered best available if you lose, but I doubt that will happen now. Dayseats tend to also help people out with alternatives if the front row sells out.

I've been entering all week and they haven't done the band a ticket offer for lottery losers. Luckily I got my sister to day seat today (she was 5th in line at 7.30).

Just looking though, there’s lots of unsold seats for tomorrow night. Wouldn’t be able to dayseat though. Do they sell unsold tickets for a cheap price later on during the day or only in the morning with the dayseat queue?

Sometimes if you don't win the lottery they offer band a tickets for losers for £28 - but they haven't been doing it this week.

In my experience (bear in mind some may of had a different experience!), I've only ever gotten a cheaper seat when in the dayseat line. I've tried later in the day when there are loads of seats left and they've still asked for full price.

I’ve only ever known them to discount tickets if you’re stood in the dayseat queue. Especially now we’re into the final few shows I highly doubt they’ll start selling them cheaper. Lottery used to offer you band a for £28 but they haven’t had that offer since Christmas as far more seats have been selling in advance at regular price.

I have noticed some tickets for the final show popping up, but all at £200 a seat. There is now just five tickets left for the final show (1 in the Dress, 4 in the Stalls), so they are milking the fans for all they're worth.

Does anyone know of anything special that may happen at the end of the final show ? One of the super fans on twitter who goes all the time and 'knows' some of the cast seems to be dropping hints that something may happen that's worth being excited about, although doesn't say what it is.

It won’t be much. Speeches, and maybe a balloon drop.

Well we already know about the filming, the tour etc, so I'm not getting excited it will be anything more than speech and some confetti. I imagine the exciting part will be the attendance of Jerry, Harvey and Cyndi.

Thanks for the help everyone! Does dynamic pricing still work for this show? I’m just looking and there’s still quite a few seats in the stalls and dress circle for tonight’s show?? Seems weird if they don’t try and sell them? Would love to get a ticket for tonight but, as I’ve seen it a few times before, trying to find a cheap deal! What time shall I look on the website for dynamic pricing?
