Nice to say that the intention at least is to keep the show going until April 2019! Obviously things happen and they may choose to close, but its nice to see the option is there.

Did anyone go mon tues this week friends of mine went on my recommendation as I’ve been 5 times and love it ..... they said singing was very ropey at times and off key ... which shocked me as it’s always been 100% when I’ve gone ? I was there on Tuesday. The first cover Lola was on and pretty much struggled vocally in all the numbers particularly the end of Hold Me In Your Heart. First covers were also on for Lauren (Susie McAdams) & Charlie (Jordan Fox) both who I thought were great.

I went on Monday and I’m guessing your friends could have been talking about David? He didn’t sound 100% to me, it wasn’t awful by any means but not the strongest I’ve heard him. He has been off ill since which explains it. Equally Momar was on as Lola, I enjoyed his performance but he wasn’t vocally strong at all. Suzie was on as Lauren who was the standout for me, loved her performance

Jemal Felix was on as Lola yesterday (2nd cover), did anyone else manage to see him? I was at the evening show, really enjoyed his portrayal. Found him to act through a couple of songs rather than just sing them straight but it really worked for him. Glad I got the chance to see his Lola, especially as it was a full understudy show (Jordan Fox was on as Charlie, Suzie McAdam as Lauren) and the atmosphere was great.
Yes it does mean I’ve been at to Kinky Boots twice in a week but that’s what happens when I’m in London and hear of understudy shows

I've seen Momar as Lola before - he acted the part well, but he did struggle with the songs, particularly Hold Me In Your Heart.

I saw David last time he was fab and preffered his Charlie ..... but I’ve only seen Matt who was fantastic as Lola and each time hit every money note .... think I might wait a while before going back now. Myself

I sent this to one of my performer friends in London and he said he had an audition for the tour in December and his callback is this coming Monday.

Finally got to see this tonight and I can't understand why I've waited so long. The entire cast were fantastic.
The understudy Lola went on for Simon in the second act and he was very good. I do hope Simon is okay.

I saw that Jemal was on for the matinee today and managed to catch the evening show. (He has been on since taking over during act 2 on saturday)
What a great show and fantastic audience. I’m not my fathers son was beautifully heartbreaking and he is such a pretty Lola. In the ladies I overheard a group talking about how they wished they looked as good as him in heels and I totally agree.
Also I have to say David sounded great tonight as Charlie too. I know someone had posted previously they had seen an off performance but he was on top form.

Kinky Boots London hits another amazing milestone tonight! Amazing to think in April the Broadway production celebrates its 5th Birthday and over here in London, in September, it celebrates its 3rd!

Saw the show this afternoon as Jordan Fox was on for Charlie. He was absolutely amazing, possibly the best I have seen out of the four. His Soul of a Man gave me chills, he was so sensational! Pretty bust theatre, all levels open. Cast were amazing overall, just such a fun show! Also, some casting news, was chatting to Jordan at stage door as I wanted to say well done and he informed me he has an audition on Friday. If he gets it, he will lead the touring company, if not, he will continue on as 1st Cover in London for the next year. Also said, as of now, they are signing on for another year in London.

Jordan’s ‘Soul of a Man’ is the highlight of the show for me when he’s on as Charlie. The pure emotion of it, can’t wait to witness that again tonight As for that casting news it’s great in my opinion. I’d love for him to get tour lead but for him to remain 1st cover in London is no bad thing either. Glad to see it currently looks like it’ll stay put for the next year, I know things can change quickly but it looks promising at least.

Its a great little bit of news to hear. The tour is in safe hands with him if he gets it, and he seemed happy to stay either way! Its great to see that if he leaves he gets lead, but he has the chance to stay a first cover too either way!

Saw this last night. Amazing show. Saw it using GILT offer - £30 for row B, bargain! 3rd time seeing show. Amazinggggg! Love it loads. One of the shows you don’t want to end, went too fast! So fun. Simon was fabbbb as Lola. I didn’t think anyone could be better than Matt but he was fab and put his own spin on it. Loved the ad-lib he did too. He is a great Lola. Jordan Fox has a beautiful voice. Such a lovely singing voice, very talented. I hope he gets the tour gig. Verity Rushworth was amazing as Lauren too. I think Amy is still my fav but Verity better than Elena. She played the part very well and was very funny. Whole cast are amazing but I LOVE these angels. How tall is Momar and Jemal?! All 6 of them slayed so much and were amazing. So so talented and good. I love how they interact with you too waving etc. They are amazing. Their legs are so good! Better than some of the girls I’ve been with before! They look amazing as women. It’s such a fun show, always leave on a high. I love how the audience lap it up too! Would deffo see it again! Looks like such a fun show to work on too! 5 stars Also, who do we think could make a good cast? Would they go down the celeb route like broadway kind of did? The show was packed last night, no spare seats in stalls and all levels open for a Thursday night. Doesn’t seem to be struggling

Last night i was there too, fifth time for me, always Amazing!!! These Angels are unbelievable. I had never heard tom scanlon sing on stage, and he has a fantastic voice!!! But for me the best is always George Grayson he shines with his own light.

Heard that they are now looking for 'names' for Charlie on both the tour and in London. Shame if true as I was really hoping Jordan would get his shot at full time Charlie. Matt Cardle is looking like a distinct possibility for London.

Thanks.
