Gonna be up in Manchester for start of the International Festival and thought about catching One Night in Miami at Home Theatre. I have 2 questions for anyone who is in the know
1) When choosing ticket one option is Student (£5 Advance - limited availability). Can you choose this if you have a valid NUS card?? Seems almost too good an offer to be true if correct!!?!
2) Are there any terrible seats in the theatre?? If the above is correct then i might go for 1st row (C in this case) if not il prob go for the cheapest of the cheap. Anyone with any experience??
Cheers

Showing an NUS card usually bags a student concession so I don’t see how it would be different. Take it with you though.
It’s a brand new theatre, there are no sightline issues in the main seating blocks but there is a row of seats down each side of the circle right up to the stage. If you choose one of those you’re going to lose your view of the side of the stage you’re sat on. I guess there’s also a risk that the stage may be high if you choose the front row stalls too.
I’d go for the £5 offer before it expires.

Home does draw a lot of university students, so the offers are real. They will ask for a form of student ID when collecting tickets, I've seen someone asked and not been able to produce before.
As Burly says, if you want an unobstructed view of the stage, don't book the side view seats in the Circle, anywhere else is great.
