Well I thought the Christmas episode was dire honestly (only funny bits were Henry Lewis’ grumpy failed actor, and the stickup a chimney bit) even though I loved their past Christmas TV specials. But the “pilot” (not pilot) episode was great. There were parts that could perhaps have been developed more but a strong story and consistent gags. Hugely enjoyed it.
On a personal note if they want to actually handcuff Henry Shields and not just promise to do so that would be OK with me.

I just don't get these and it's really weird as I normally enjoy farce. They just seem so telegraphed and the spoken lines always end up matching perfectly the visually unplanned stuff.
I did see half of TPTGW with the original cast, in the days when it was still discounted. Part of me regrets not lasting the course, but I just didn't laugh and on that date couldn't cope with malfunctioning guns. It's still the only show I've not come back for the second half for.
I've watched all the TV stuff. I did find a few funny moments in the Christmas episode, but the Pilot was just the same jokes we've seen a thousand times. There wasn't even enough of Dave Hearn smiling wildly to save it.
I'm sure there's something I've missed. I can appreciate the work that goes into these and I'm impressed by how much success Mischief have had around the world. So what have I missed?

Spoiler alert...
Tonight’s episode features a running joke about the set being designed incorrectly in terms of scale and reminds me of the famous Stonehenge scene from ‘This Is Spinal Tap’.... what a riot that film was!

Wasn't laughing out loud with tonight's episode, but thought it was very well written and extremely clever.
Miles better than last week's.

I loved this week's sets, especially the Judge's chamber that was like a dolls' house!

That was really funny and very clever. Loved the physical comedy. The best so far for me.

A really funny episode this week. Loved the sets. I’d like to see this one performed on stage.

Definitely some Bank Robbery inspiration for the set here. There were a few similarities with not only TCAABR (also Henry S pouring water over himself like Caprice does in Act 2) but also TPTGW (Jonathan's failure to exit when he should have, Dave miming blood spurting), PPGW (conversations getting the wrong way round following prompting) & Groan Ups (prosecution/prostitution). But I suppose there's only so many things that can Go Wrong & most of the audience probably don't remember the shows in the minute detail that I do!

I laughed more last week but agree this week had stronger writing.
Apart from the Christmas episode I’m loving the series.

Of the three I enjoyed this the most - the split set was clever, as was the miniatures set, but I still feel we need a 'behind the scenes' prologue so we know why he is uneasy with the lines, and a bit about the characters, and so on. I watch them record next weeks show, which was very clunky in real time but the editing will pull it all together

I wonder what Henry Shields’ tattoo is. Not that I rewound and watched that scene four times or anything.

I wonder what Henry Shields’ tattoo is. Not that I rewound and watched that scene four times or anything. I believe it's a scorpion. It was on display when he played Mitch & fitted that character well. I'm not sure it suits Chris Bean though. He had it covered for the Christmas episode but presumably the costume & make-up people didn't think about it showing through a wet shirt.

Well if they manage to top that I'll be surprised! So many moments I actually had to rewind because I laughed so long at a previous bit! The half sets were gold but the stand out was the 'bigheadedness' in the tiny office, his facial expressions as he wrestled with the minuscule furniture was absolutely priceless!

The Court Room one is by miles the best so far. Lots of laughing out loud from my folks and I.
I will be watching it again.

I didn’t think the horror one tonight was as good as previous weeks. The Spice Girls reunion tour gag was brilliant. More importantly did anyone spot our very own BurlyBeaR making his BBC debut at the start of the show when the camera pans across the stage after the intro? A fantastic piece of acting in my opinion. No words spoken but the facial expression said it all.

Not quite as good laugh for laugh this week but plenty of stand out moments, the balloon popping was a good running gag, and Henry Lewis laughing was a risky gag that got less funny as it went on but was one of those things that went on for so long it becomes funny again. Also I know it's a gag as old as time but the bucket of water made me laugh both times.

A good show last night, but I suppose they will run out of original creative ideas eventually.

I too was in that audience, but I didn't enjoy the finished result as much. Yep, the laughing went on didn't it, and they did rely on TV editing techniques too much. I know the technology of tv recording, and some of the stunts, makes a one take hard, but I do think it would gain from trying to do the whole piece as one take. Is it the upside down house next week?

No, next week is the period drama, which I'm really looking forward to. It's the week after that for the sets-at-90-degrees episode, which presumably is going to be like a massively extended version of the wall scene in TCAABR. (Given that's my least favourite scene in TCAABR, I'm slightly apprehensive about a whole half hour of it...)

the catering left a great deal to be desired. No bakewell traybake, or too much tempting bakewell traybake for your new healthy living regime?
