I hope they are choosing small venues for the tour. This is a show that is best enjoyed in intimate venues. There is much to enjoy about it - but it won't be an easy sell if they only opt for 1000+ seat houses.

Happy Friday! This is great news 😁 I hope it comes to a venue in the North East.

Are we sure at this stage that this is a tour rather than local amateur group? I know there's none of the "this production is by arrangement with..." text however just wondering.
If it is a tour, I doubt that will be the opening venue - not many tours initially open on a Monday for a single week.

Is there any info on actual venues? Just the cities is a bit useless...

Booked New Year Eve show in Croydon. Has anyone been to the theatre they're playing? Would love to know more about the sightlines for the closest rows It's been closed for a long time, possibly two years, while they did a complete refurbishment (some of it might even have been knocked down and rebuilt). There's two venues in there, a concert hall and a theatre. The seats aren't sold as restricted view (and there won't be an orchestra pit in place), so I imagine that the sightlines will be good.

This is one that I can't miss. Booked for Liverpool, thinking about Salford as well.

Just booked for the first preview in Croydon. Front row seat for £18 including booking fee. Calling FrontrowverPaul ! I've already booked Croydon so good tip! Not just for me but the whole family - a Saturday matinee on the day we are seeing Goldilocks at the Palladium. Also went for the £15 seats in the front row left and right of the centre. I've also booked a Woking matinee, front row again, on the day I'm seeing Prince Of Egypt at the Dominion in the evening I'm so happy this show is touring. I scored it a perfect 10 when I saw it towards the end of its run at Hornchurch last October and would have revisited if I could. Superior to the production we saw with Ronan Keating a few years ago. I really hope it does well.

Pretty much everyone was superior than Ronan Keating in Once! He was awfully overacting and didn’t sing the proper notes!
I’ve seen 8 guys playing the part and Ronan was the worst. He actually held my pedestal for the “awful stunt casting”... until this year I saw Waitress and Sweet Charity! 😂
In case anyone wonders this is definitely Hornchurch production touring, I checked. Very happy, loved some of their staging. Although will miss West End mirrors and my best onstage selfies!
