Anyone know much about this. Seems to be a one-act Stephen Schwartz thing, which includes the Disney movie songs and some new songs. Another Youth Theatre production, it seems.

According to Wikipedia, this started life as the Disney movie Geppetto (2000), which was then made into the two-act musical My Son Pinocchio: Geppetto's Musical Tale (first performed in 2006).
This is the cut-down one-act version, aimed at a younger audience. I'm guessing primary school age performers.
Looks like it's the same story as the Disney film Pinocchio, but told from Geppetto's perspective.
There are a few versions on YouTube if anyone has the patience to watch it and report back.

I’m worried Southwark are going down the YOUTH route. In 2016/2017 they were on fire!! Perhaps since Danielle Terento and Thomas Southerland moved to Charing Cross

Yes BTA are doing the same as last year, taking over both spaces at Southwark, with one show being more adult orientated than the other (Once on this Island) and something more junior (see thread title). Last year it was Bring It On and Goodnight Mr Tom. It's the best time to do it as the kids aren't in school.
