Not sure if there is already a thread on this subject but thought I'd let you know about a recent experience. On Saturday I went to see Daniel Boys at Crazy Coqs. Bought a diet coke which was about £3. Paid at the end with contactless but didn't get a receipt and the waitress took the bill. When I checked my recent transactions online I found that they had charged me £7.38 Sent them an e mail and the manager phoned me right back and was very apologetic. He said the waitress had made a mistake and she was very upset. He refunded me the difference and service charge back to my card. Thought they handled it really well. Very impressed.
Any other theatrical experiences of good service?

Turned up to Manchester Palace Theatre for a show a day late (oops) with minutes til curtain up (double oops). Quite prepared to go straight home, admitting my mistake but a very helpful lady at the Box Office sourced me a spare seat to avoid disappointment.

Me and my daughter went to CATS in Brum on a Saturday matinee a few years ago and actually made it to our seats three or so rows from the front in the stalls.A very posh gentleman and his companion in furs then arrived and we had the same seat tickets.Oh dear...we were a week early! The theatre took pity on us and we got a couple of circle seats.Returned the following week. Two of the cast came and sang/performed next to my daughters seat which was amazing for her.As a side- note we had same seats for BARNUM on another occasion with Brian Conley and before the show started, some of circus performers came into the audience and one of them used my bald head to balance juggling bean-bags on...my claim to fame ! Lol.

Was booked to see Everybody's Talking about Jamie last year when the snow happened. It wasn't as bad in London as it was in Bristol, so I wasn't sure if they would do anything but the box office exchanged our tickets for another date free of charge and were very pleasant. I've also just had a good experience with Crazy Coqs. The lineup of the Joe Stilgoe and Friends concerts in May has changed so they sent an email saying I could keep the tickets or have a refund. Within 30 minutes of my reply, the refund was made.

Encore Tickets and the Playhouse allowed me to transfer our tickets to Caroline or Change when we had to drive to Solihull for a family funeral. The Encore ticket agent called the theatre on our behalf and called us back with an answer, which is something that is depressingly rare. They were very sympathetic and helpful, and the whole process was painless.
