Whatever the exciting news was, it must be for NEXT Christmas. It's October now, surely it is far too late to announce any shows beginning in a month or two.

We have just had 2 Am-Dram productions here in Plymouth, so perhaps the rights are still open only for Am-dram??

Confirmed to run at The Lowry in Salford next Christmas. The Lowry released it a newsletter looking for new members and offer 2 for 1 tickets.

The entire centre block of the Circle is £77.50 for this, the centre block of the Stalls is £58.50, and the rest of the Circle and Stalls comes in at £55.50. No concessions.
The Upper Circle prices aren't much better - restricted view seat for £43.50 anyone?
These prices have gone down like a lead balloon on The Lowry's social media pages.

Peasants! You get to rest one buttock on a tree stump for those prices at the Sam Wanamaker.
I'm guessing The Lowry box office team won't be feeling quite so sparklejollytwinklejingley then.

Or it may be prior to West End. Any number of venues it could potentially go into depending on how the booked shows are doing.

Is nobody actually going to this tour on here? I saw the show in its London run (despite the controversial pricing) and had alot of fun. I find the score a delight, Ben was great and (again, controversial I know) but I liked Kimberley in the role.

Given the preconceptions I have of content on Channel 5, my hopes arent high.

I’m really looking forward to seeing it on TV as, living in NI, I don’t get to see all the shows I want to

I wish I’d known about the tv showing before I shelled out for a ticket. It’s absolutely rubbish. My friend is a big fan of the film (which I haven’t seen) and said the show did it an injustice. Ben Forster trying to be cute was embarrassing to behold. The kitten was ok, decent voice. The special effect at the end with the sleigh was ok but let’s face it that stunt has been used all over the place. It was unfunny and desperate. We hated it.

Anyone else watching this on Channel 5! Has this changed since its run in Dublin three years ago. I don't remember it being like this. Maybe it just isn't coming across very well on TV.

Something about it really annoyed me. Changed the channel after 5 minutes.

I had to laugh when it went to an ad break just now, and straight into a (very brief) trailer for Celeb Big Brother!
I'm not keen so far. All the songs seem to sound the same. It doesn't help that the acting is so OTT - fine when you're watching in a theatre, but not when you're watching on TV!

This is not coming across well on TV. Feels a bit flat and not like it was when I saw it a few years ago.

It comes over quite flat to me. Also i find Ben just really annoying in it. I don't know what it is but i just do. I can't help but wonder what it would be like with someone else/
