Interesting. I hated the film. Was the show better?

Michael will be pleased! I'm not a rock fan by any means but I did enjoy it.

Probably a tour than a West End return. I can't see many theatre owners wanting it back unless they need a filler

It is not a show that needs to grace the West End ever again...but it's better than Clockwork Orange....that is in my top 5 worst shows EVER

Opens in Bromley next September, touring the UK for a year or so. Tickets going on sale very soon! Where I am sitting right now, waiting for Legally Blonde. The last tour sold quite well? A fun, light hearted show, that doesn't take itself seriously. One of the longest running show in Broadway history. Surprised Michael likes it a lot like me, considering the Germanic joke.😨😨😨🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧😇

It may be me but as a fan of musical theatre does it sometimes feel that the same five shows are continuously going out on tour again and again. There are hundreds of fantastic musicals that never tour but year after year you see the same old suspects advertised at your local theatre again. I know these things sell but give me something different! I have no desire to see the likes of Rock of Ages, legally blonde, hairspray and the like so soon after they were out last. Even admittedly brilliant shows like Blood brothers and Jersey Boys are back out again next year, doesn't seem like 2 minutes since I saw both. And who's crying out for Shrek again?! I know I'm not the target audience for these but please give me a little variety! Living in the Midlands I can't get down to London every weekend lol. xx

I'm actually glad this show is making a comeback and touring, only because I've never seen it though. It never appealed to me during my much more casual theatre days (which lasted until around a year ago), so it'll be good to see it just to be able to form my own opinion.

Is the stage show as bad as the film version ? I was really looking forward to seeing this on stage but just don't think I could put myself through it if the movie is anything to go by

Is the stage show as bad as the film version Not seen the film, but the stage show is the only musical I've ever seen that I actually, actively HATED. Did you never see Happy Days on tour a couple of years ago TM? If not, bullet dodged. Now that, that was the biggest pile of carp that I've ever had the displeasure of sitting through.

No, I didn't, but I doubt it was as utterly misogynistic and degrading to women, nor actually ear-canal damagingly loud, was it? Indeed not - though it was shockingly written and shockingly performed! And shockingly attended too

Already booked for Bromley, Manchester and Birmingham. Looking forward to seeing Jodie Steele as Sherrie as I've missed her Elphaba, but I do hope Lucas Rush gets a few adlib lessons from Simon Lipkin and Nathan Amzi.
Zoe Birkett seems a bit young for Justice, though.

Is it the same production as last time, do we know? Immersion Theatre are behind the tour so I guess it's probably a new production. They did a decent job with Our House anyway.

I have seen the show 3 times. IMO a lot depends on how hot and energetic the young women dancers are. I am not trolling, I am serious. There were three young women dancers in one London production who were phenomenal. I think they kept the show going. One of them was Amy Thornton who went onto Matilda, can`t remember the other names.
