I have seen the show 3 times. IMO a lot depends on how hot and energetic the young women dancers are. I am not trolling, I am serious. There were three young women dancers in one London production who were phenomenal. I think they kept the show going. One of them was Amy Thornton who went onto Matilda, can`t remember the other names. Twinnie Lee Moore, who’s currently focusing on her own music, and Zizi Strallen. Twinnie was out of the show for several months with a broken leg and was replaced by Scarlette Douglas during that time. |

Taken from WOS Danielle Hope is to join the cast of the UK tour of Rock of Ages, it has been announced. The winner of Over the Rainbow joins the cast with Sam Ferriday, whose previous theatre credits include The Jersey Boys and Ghost the Musical. Hope has starred as Eponine in Les Miserables and Maria in the UK tour of The Sound of Music. Hope will play Sherrie, until 24 Novemer, and on the 26 November Jodie Steele will play the role following her performance in Heathers the Musical. Ferriday is to play the role of Stacee Jaxx until 9 December. Hope and Ferriday join the previously announced Kevin Kennedy as Dennis, Zoe Birkett as Justice, Luke Walsh as Drew, Lucas Rush as Lonny, Andrew Carthy as Franz, Vas Constanti as Hertz and Rhiannon Chesterman as Regina. Also joining the cast are Erin Bell, Alexander Day, Joshua Dever, Paris Green, Sinead Kenny, Ryan Lee-Seager, Adam Strong, Saran Webb and Bobby Windebank. The tour of the musical begins at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley on 20 September this year. It features songs including "We Built This City", "The Final Countdown", "Here I Go Again", "Can't Fight This Feeling" and "I Want to Know What Love Is". The tour continues across the UK until 27 July. Sam going to be an interesting Stacee Jaxx for me  |

I also just found out that the tour is visiting Berlin's Admiralspalast from 4th to 9th December 2018.
Couldn't help myself but I just had to book a trip to our capital to see the tour again - which will also be my first time seeing Jodie as Sherrie.

Most likely can‘t do Wimbledon next year because of a clash with a business trip. I’d love to see the tour in Edinburgh, but I‘m not booking a trip to the UK after March 2019 until a decision about Brexit has been made. |

I'm seeing this in Edinburgh based on the strength of Jodie. I have no idea of the storyline or anything, I just really want to see Jodie.

This could be clever casting - Strictly is a big show, and Kevin Clifton is easily one of the most memorable pro dancers - so he will bring in quite a number of fans I would think. |
