Been in the queue since 10. Have gotten in now. Was able to select a date, but am waiting for seating chart to load. It's been whirring for a good ten mins. Don't expect much improvement when the seat chart finally loads. Whirrs for five mins or so when you try to add seats to your basket then brings up an error message. I've had about five attempts now!

Had this problem with LW theatres for booking Bastille at the Palladium the other week. Their site just can't handle any kind of demand.
I have my phone open too in case I have better luck on 4g rather than wifi, but no joy either way so far.
I guess it is safe to say there has been the demand for it!

Well, that was stressful but finally booked for the performance I wanted in November. Progressed through the queue in around 35 minutes, having joined at number 848 at 10am, but the seat plan then took ages to load, and when I could eventually see the seat plan it failed to add seats to the basket multiple times before finally allowing me to proceed. Even then on the payment page it was asking me to choose a delivery option but took around five minutes to display what those options were! I opted for e-tickets which are apparently only sent out 24 hours prior to the performance. If you ask for tickets to be posted, they will be sent out one week before. The other option is mobile tickets.

Finally booked, after telling myself I'd get a cheaper one after opening I went for an expensive preview. Stalls row H at the side £59 instead of £99 though (there were even better ones but they sold as I clicked them!)

I've been in the site for almost 2 hours at this point and have yet to be presented with any tickets.
It's showing all of the march dates as sold out now.

I simply never bother with this. Sorry but 9 times out of 10 it's completely unnecessary for people to put themselves through hours of waiting or stress just to get tickets to something they could easily get tickets for a few hours later, a few days later or even a few months later...all this waiting by the laptop or phone for the very second booking is open is completely beyond me and i've literally never done it and also never missed out on seeing any of the shows...

To give an idea of pricing for previews. Will try and get on a full price performance. This has taken the best part of 4 hours.

Thank you. Well, that was a complete of time. Got the code from O2, waited 20 minutes or so (not that long in the scheme of things, but even so ...), then transferred to website, only to be confronted with a blank screen and the message "there has been a problem, try again". No thanks, I'll wait.

Back stalls and royal seats 'may miss a short special effect high above the stage'. No mention for the Grand and Balcony. Anyone know what this might be?

Caved and bought a couple of side grand circle seats for the first matinee. I feel so lucky that O2 do stuff like this for us their lucky lucky customers. I got some free wrapping paper from them once too!!!!

Would everyone recommend side front row Grand or more central front row Balcony? Does the Balcony feel far away?

Back stalls and royal seats 'may miss a short special effect high above the stage'. No mention for the Grand and Balcony. Anyone know what this might be? There’s a scene in act one that takes place on a rope bridge above the stage, maybe that? I wouldn’t have said it was that high though, but I can’t remember anything else from Broadway that happens above.
