Probably to give Sheena enough time to get there in case of delays. You know what it's like with these morning trains. It's her baby that takes the morning train. Sounds a bit child-neglecty to me. Agree, escpecially as she's a Modern Girl. |

Good seats available for previews in Balcony - £15, £25 tickets. Looks like decent views too.
Really am debating whether to book this or Comedy About a Bank Robbery??

Well, I'm in a minority as I hated Comedy About a Bank Robbery, but I'd go for 42nd Street Here's a bit from the original West End production, possibly re-staged for the Royal Variety Performance |

Comedy gets good reciews but i dont know if it is going to be too 'silly' - I love comedies but not silly things? I don't wanna regret booking it either and seeing original cast but i dont know if I'd enjoy it. Ugh, I'm so indecisive!! Does anyone know what Balcony views in Drury Lane are like? |

Looking at theatremonkey the view is fine but it's a long walk up and there are issues with safety rails.
To contradict myself, if I was going to treat somebody I might go for good seats for Comedy rather than balcony seats for 42nd Street if the price was about the same. Feels like more of a treat if you sit in the stalls or dress circle.

Just booked for the first preview. Not sure if it'll be my thing so went for the £15ish tickets in the balcony. Pretty much gonna be sat on the roof, but looking forward to it.

This will definitely start doing offers into the run... Looking on Really Useful that ticket prices aren't extortionate, the balcony is affordable as are some stalls and grand circle seats. Yes, some seats are a bit pricy but not anything different to what we have already seen. Bearing in mind I would say this is a fairly priced show (if this is what we consider fairly priced in the present climate) it will be demand not price that will be the death of this show if it doesn't sell. |

Only just signed up after losing the WoS forum (that's how irregularly I visit!) but I'm friendly with a lot of musicians in town, and the players I know that have jumped to this are pretty top notch, and well known in music circles. Some leaving very secure shows to do this.

The original production had a successful run at Drury Lane but I think while it's a fun show, it's not a title that would sell to a general audience unlike say My Fair Lady. |

Saw a the 2001 revival on Broadway and still hum and tap my feet to the songs frequently. I love the homage to tap- this is definitely a love letter to a song and dance show! Am booked for 29 March evening performance in the stalls! |

I'm wondering if this will extend past its first booking period or if the rumor about Adams Family going in will actually happen.
I believe Barnaby or Parsley said it wasn't selling well. (well they probably said it more harshly, but we get the idea)
