Our US mid-term elections are 6 Nov. I'll be in London and voting absentee. When I wake up 7 Nov in your magnificent city, I'll know if Republicans have kept the House and/or Senate or if reason has finally prevailed. I will be either extremely happy or devastatingly sad.
I can't think of any show that would be appropriate for whatever mood I will be in then this one. Any sadness will disappear or happiness will be magnified when the curtain starts to come up and I see the dancing feet.
Evening of 7 Nov I will be in Stalls A1, hopefully jubilant. I used the 2 browser trick I've learned here to get around the single seat block.

The atmosphere at Cast Change was electric, so I'm very much excited! I've never felt a ripple of excitement from just feet appearing under a curtain, or a staircase appearing!

I've splashed out too but the front row the is gone so I've gone for trusty C6. Its on the aisle and faces the stage just at the right place where no one is in your way because of the space in the aisle. Sat there three times already, love it! C6 is a great seat and one I have sat in many times when AA was not available. |

I have never experienced a night in theatre quite like that of Sat March 17th. Those who were there will know what I mean! It was electric and the audience were on fire. I am hoping Jan 5th ( Although a sad day as that will be the end) will be equally electrifying if not better! |

Ir does seem to be that certain nights the audience catches fire. Early in this thread I wrote about our experience during a preview. It seemed like the balconies were full of dance fans. Everytime a new number started a huge roar of approval went out, as if we were in a stadium and the home team were scoring goal after goal. In 45+ years of theatregoing I've never experienced usch electircity going out.

I will say, unashamedly so, the first time I saw it and the cast change, I cried when the staircase arrived, mainly because the first show I had never seen anything so amazing, and the cast change because that original cast was the best I've ever seen in the West End as a collective nd we won't get that again. I'm such a sap. |

Phillip is on as Billy for the rest of the week. Definitely worth a watch. He is excellent. He was great this afternoon! Very twinkly eyed and loving his moment! |

Emma Caffery is out of the show tonight and potenitally the next few performances after slipping on her dress yesterday during Shuffle Off to Buffalo and twisting her ankle, which is now swollen about three times the size it should be. So I wouldn't imagine she will be on the next few days.

He really is good - and such matinee idol good looks 🤗, it’s a shame that he didn’t take over from Stuart at cast change! He's the only cover for any of the leads I've seen so far and I thought he was brilliant, better than Stuart tbh. |

It was visit 5 on Sat. Thought I couldn't love this show any more than I already did, but it surprised me yet again. That feeling when the overture seems to slow down, then ramps up again and the dancing feet appear, it's just stunning.
I saw quite a few covers too, all great, it was especially interesting to see Hannah-Faith Marram as Peggy.
Ashley Day was looking as gorgeous as ever.
Booked for 5 Jan and wondering how many more times to go before then.

When it was announced I could barely have been less bothered, but closing night will be my 4th visit. I would have gone a lot more if I lived closer - it’s a great show for making you feel happier than when you went in. |

I've done 42nd Street 7 times with dayseat and ended up Row C everyone, and once for Charlie and got front row for £15. Totally worth it, very flexible! |

Saw this last night - much as I thought Lulu did a decent job as Dorothy, it was nice to hear Steph hit the high notes like Sheena used to. Also, she's the first Dorothy I've seen where the age gap between Dorothy and Philip Bertioli's Pat hasn't looked completely ridiculous.

A huge thanks to the 2 Daniels for the advice that’s when this forum works best its 140miles to that there London for me but took the advice and went to box office at 4pm I must say box office staff were so personable and friendly offered me row B centre for £15 !!!!! Bargain We all really enjoyed it the whole cast were excellent no weak links .... Ashley day is always good value and delivers but being so close could see when he wasn’t singing or should I say part (which seemed pretty often and he’s so comfortable during the finale number he was whispering and chatting to one of the chorus ) lol 🙄 which did put me off a bit Did get me thinking I loved Dorothy but would nay be have liked to see Sheena for the extra bit of star quality  As heard she was so good ? Anybody see her was she ? But all in all great night and would go again |
