My sincerest apologies for not reading previously. Was told at work they haven’t been announced yet along with Kinky Boots next year - but they obviously have. You lot certainly know how to put me in my place 😂.

You lot certainly know how to put me in my place 😂. No problem! I would say you are correct though, not announced but online to find if you know where to look. They both turned up on launchingfilms last week but I only mentioned 42nd Street (no idea if Kinky Boots was mentioned in that thread before now).

Just seen that Ashley Day is in is a revival of a dance show called Freddie Falls in Love at the Joyce Theater.
Don't know New York, or it's "theaters." Is that Broadway? Off Broadway? What's the difference?
For a second I thought it might have been the gay role he talked about wanting to play, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

It holds 472 people, so I think that means it would count as Off-Broadway (100 to 499 seats). Smaller venues than that are Off-Off-Broadway. Looks like it's mainly a dance venue. Ashley is only there for a short run, July 23 to August 4. Hopefully, for him, he'll get noticed by the right people.

One of the cast has just put on Instagram that Uk cinema release is 10th November. I think that's the third time the date has been announced in this thread now.

It's going to be such a momentous event that it should be announced on the hour every hour until the show begins.

I think they might be, isn't £15 about normal for event cinema?

Where tickets are already on sale or advertised they are between £12.50 and £15. Durham, Bromyard, Tideswell and Milford-On-Sea are venues advertising the show so far.

Theatre Severn in Shrewsbury now advertising for December.
SAT 7 DEC | 3PM & 7PM 42nd STREET 42nd STREET, the legendary Broadway musical theatre classic, is a ‘glorious’ (★★★★★ Express) and ‘utterly moreish extravaganza of glitz’ (★★★★★ Times).
Telling the story of a talented young performer who gets her big break on Broadway, this is the largest ever staging of the Tony® Award-winning musical and it was filmed live at the magnificent Theatre Royal in the heart of London’s West End.
Starring national treasure Bonnie Langford and featuring iconic songs 42nd STREET, We’re In The Money and Lullaby Of Broadway, this is pure musical magic on the big screen.

I don't mind it being repeated, as I'd somehow missed it the first time around! Fab news - although none of my local cinemas are advertising it yet.

Tickets went on sale this morning at my local 'Light' cinema. It's being shown on Nov.10th at 17.00 and Nov.12th at19.30.
I was the first person to book! I saw the show 15 times including the unforgettable last night. Can't wait to see it again. Hope there's a DVD eventually.

It’s the one that was bought by a church, and the locals spent years and years campaigning until it was bought I think by the council. I’ve had a look, and it’s also in at Stratford Picturehouse. I may book in there nearer the time as I think Littlest would probably love it. I do regret not taking them to see it last year!

Isnt it going to be a theatre as well? Stratford picture house probably better for me 2.
