Ok put it simply, I was at the back, my friend was at the front. She got one ticket, the limit is two for everyone, she came to me and said she got mine, same as people do for their friends. I accepted because who wouldn't. Thats it. Simple. Why do people have an issue with me doing it but people don't have an issue for people buying for friends who aren't there, I don't understand. I also don't get why some are choosing to make this thread negative when it should be a celebration of the show today.

Yeah, cheer up everyone! I'd love to hear about some more of the muck ups from this afternoon. Have fun those of you there tonight. Some that I can remember Clare R came on with Mac and Andy in her Urchin outfit at the end. Alyn sang the female solo in Sunny Side.

Some favourite muck ups:
Peggy knocking Julian off his feet at the start.
Diane using a posh English accent, turning blonde, walking around with champagne glasses and generally sending the part up.
Phyllis and Lorraine holding hands/linking arms a lot of the time.
Dorothy lifting her back leg up when being kissed by Pat (like Peggy usually does).
Later, when Julian kisses Peggy, he pushed her back so she couldn’t lift her leg.
One of the male ensemble staying quietly sat on the seats at the back of the stage reading a book.
At the end of Getting Out of Town, people piling their luggage on the block that had to be carried out and Luke sitting on it.
Same scene, canary out of its state, handed to Julian.
Ryan using a police hat instead of a top hat during Dames.
Changed dances during Dames, with legs crossing during the mirror scene and two circles at the end so Dorothy could be seen straight away.
Zac coming on as an extra bar boy during the club scene and being ordered to clean the stage by Thomas.
Only one sailor in the act one finale.
Two extra people saying “she sure is pretty” one after another in Sunny Side.
During Lullaby, the female group stopping singing so only one of them sung Milkman.
During the same song, Billy moving aside when Julian went to cover his mouth, finishing the note!
In Plenty of Money, only Joel doing the first hand extension. Only James doing the second.
In 42nd Street, the Thief (Joel) having something on string attached to his back, which he threw offstage but left the string. Then he died in awkward position. Policeman trying to give him CPR, ending with a cameo from Freddie giving him the kiss of life!
And, of course, Bonnie joining the dance at the end.
There were a load more too, including extended lines and comments with microphones off. Clapping at unusual points. Show went about 10 minutes longer than usual.

People are allowed two tickets when they day seat. They don’t have to both be there. Daniel’s friend at the front of the queue took two tickets as they were perfectly entitled to, and then gave one to Daniel. All fair and above board.

Couldn’t find anyone in the bar but enjoyed my glass of champagne (thanks to my saved voucher from Lord Webber).
Enjoy the show everyone!

Have a brilliant time everyone - sadly they've refused to sell on my ticket - seems the theatre would prefer an empty seat even though I clearly said I wasn't expecting a refund!

Said I wasn't going to cry, so I started crying when the orchestra played the first note, then again when we saw the dancing feet.

Interval time.
Atmosphere is electric. They even got me cheering (I normally just clap politely).
Bonnie really nailed Boulevard. Never heard it sound better.
A few of the cast were crying during Audition. Can’t blame them, it’s a happy but sad night.

Ironic interval conversation. A couple saying people should discipline themselves and not cheer and not spoil it. Yet they are singing along throughout.

The atmosphere in here is just incredible. You can tell how much love people have for the show. The cast are sensational as usual, and Bonnie is really milking it tonight! Boulevard was indeed spectacular, as was We’re In The Money with a jump splits from Ashley instead of the cartwheel!!

Some more afternoon muck ups I’ve thought of:
The Head Waiter gave Annie a flower
After “Quiet” when Billy was looking for a note, one of the brass players deliberate played loud wrong notes.
The girl in Peggy’s dressing room (after an extra long kiss scene) stole one of the glasses off the dressing table.

Gutted ! Was on today tix 10am soon as it changed to open clicked and said 6 tickets left then said all tickets gone 😞😞 hello drowsychap, I actually have tickets for tonight's performance that i'm super sad i can't go to as my daughter is poorly. The seats are Grand Circle L12 and L13. I paid £96 for both but am willing to sell for less so that someone goes. I will accept paypal and will email you the booking reference. Let me know if you'd be interested Damn thanks for the offer I tried box office again and kept checking tix then resigned myself to not going 😞. It’s a 3 hour drive for me and nothing else I really wanted to see invade I couldn’t get any tickets .... went to see Mary poppins again as consolation 🙁.. saw 42 nd street twice so will hold those memories and hopefully someone will rec the finale bows etc

I still found it jarring how Clare Halse doesn’t receive the last bow. I think people have really underrated how damn hard she works in that show. I saw the understudy a while ago and it really made me realise how specialClare’s performance is.

An amazing, emotional, sensational night. The west end is a little dimmer now this show is over.
