I’m very sad to be saying goodbye and trying not to think about it until the day! No other show has brought me so much joy.

I think I will get tearful several times, I've already got a little tearful. 😂 I'm so pathetic. We can all have a collective tear when that staircase appears for the final time.

Unless they are holding seats off sale the last performance is really well sold with just a handful of seats left at the back of the stalls and hardly anything on the other 3 levels. Even the matinee is looking very full.

Even the matinee is looking very full. They might not be off sale, but there may be separate allocations with agencies. So it wouldn't be a shock to see a few more seats appear, or for people to find decent seats if they hunt around a bit.
But yes, I'm expecting both performances to be pretty full!

Anybody who hasn't been following their performance schedule, there is only 8 performances left to catch the show. God bless the cast doing four days of two shows!

What you see on the website is a pretty accurate representation of what is left for those final two shows.

What you see on the website is a pretty accurate representation of what is left for those final two shows. Yeah I went to the box office on Friday and they basically said that both Saturday shows will likely be sold out on sales alone from the website and box office, so that seating plan on the website is accurate.

Mmmmm…...the closure of 42nd St has got 2019 off to a depressing start hasn't it! This will be closely followed by Kinky Boots and Dreamgirls on the 12th. Another two favourites of mine - although Dreamgirls is not the show it once was.
Drury Lane will be dark, Waitress and Come From Away do not appeal.
But turning negatives into positives - this will be VERY good for my bank balance!!

Just managed to get a Rush ticket for tonight. Row B, which isn't too bad considering it's the final week. Can't check what's left as you can only make one purchase per performance, but I did check the matinee and the seats are a lot further back.

I just finally got through and got a seat in row E for tonight. Rush has been an absolute nightmare for this today. I suspect the final day will be fresh hell.

Great show tonight. All the leads were on and, as far as I can tell, all the regular ensemble. Certainly true for the males (but I spotted swings Freddie and Zak briefly on stage during the opening number).
Pretty full too. I did walk past TKTs an hour before the start and they claimed to still have discounted Stalls left but no idea how true that was.
Only audience drama was two guys in Row A who it turned out should have been in Row B about 15 minutes into the show when a party of three arrived (also explaining they had an empty seat next to them and I had two empty seats next to me). The ushers handled it remarkably well during a round of applause.
Good to see the cast still changing things around too, even in the final week. Nothing major, just facial expressions, different line emphasis and the like.
Six staircases to go!

Amazing performance tonight, from pretty much full house and amazing atmosphere. Cast great! Joel took a slight tumble during the rehearsal montage and Clare R lost her hat during Lullaby of Broadway, but both handled it very well! Great show and still getting emotional at that staircase. And proud to be the person to cue applause for Clare when she re-enters for the final number. 😂😂
So sad about Saturday, even more now. It'll be an amazing night though!

According to the web site, Looks like about 40 seats at the very very back of the stalls for Sat night and 1 at the back of the Royal circle. Not much left in the grand Circle or Balcony either unless there are blocks booked out still to agencies but I doubt being the last night!

it’s been a joy watching this thread for the past year and a half. It’s been nice also trying to guess who you all are when you come in to see the show and even getting to know some of you. I’m going to miss this show very much and the place I have called home for the past 11 years. It’s been an absolute joy to go out on a show as grand as this. It’s going to be a bittersweet night on the 5th but we will go out in style. I will miss you too :-) Thank you for everything x

Oh, and everyone has to go wish Clare Rickard all the well wishes, she's announced she is pregnant! ... and, to add, a cast member has told me it will tour, but not until 2020 at the earliest. That is simply the best news ever! Clare R has been one of the cast members I have really grown to adore. She deserves the best x

Hope I don’t have to report anyone on here to the bad behaviour thread (you’ve said where you sitting 😉😉) for the last performance for cheering during musical numbers etc. that inhibits in on everyone else’s ability to see AND hear in its glory one last time. Y’all have been warned.

Y’all have been warned. I was very impressed with the audience at cast change, they were very well behaved. There was no talking, no real over the top reactions. When the mirror started revolving, the curtian rising at the beginning and staircase all got applause, but it kinda felt like it fitted so that didn't bother me and the whole audience went wild anyway. I think it will be in the same vein with this one.

Oh I wouldn't worry about that at all if that is a concern of yours, the fans of this show tend to be older, not teenagers like with Wicked. Even with cast change and the younger people that were around me, all were lovely and lively but only when appropriate, with a standing ovation occuring after the staircase from several being the only extreme but throughy deserved. The only added thing I can see happened on the final show will of course be entrance applause for Clare, which again, I would say is thoroughly deserved and is the right kind of entrance where you can get away with it without it detailing the show, kinda like Elphaba in Wicked.

"with a standing ovation occuring after the staircase from several being the only extreme but throughy deserved. "
Very selfishly blocking the view of the people behind.

"with a standing ovation occuring after the staircase from several being the only extreme but throughy deserved. " Very selfishly blocking the view of the people behind. It went on for like 10 seconds, if that, nothing was happening on stage, the side most of the fans were sat on, most of the people on that side stood anyway so it's barely blocking, it happens at most shows at the end anyway with people saying it is selfish. You can't win them all, let people enjoy themselves.

We get it. You're not a fan of standing ovations. Can we move on? I can't cope with the same exact discussion again.

Just day seated.
Got there about 9 15 and six in queue. By ten was about forty in queue.
Lots of good seats available including front row. Will be much more chaotic tomorrow I guess!

I did check the TodayTix Rush tickets today out of interest and they went in seconds.
