The show tonight was just fabulous as always. Bonnie was hilarious, and has great vocals to go with it, a great addition. Of course Clare and Ashley were sensational, and walk away with the show with ease. Emma Caffery too was fantastic! Lovely, lively audience tonight too, great for a Saturday night, with lots of applause and cheers at the end of numbers, they went wild when the legs appeared at the start and alot of audience members stayed as usual to hear the end of the Orchestra playing and went crazy. A great night had by all it seems.

First time seeing the show last night and I really enjoyed it! Clare Halse clearly the standout performer on stage but it was great to see all the main leads. Bonnie has a great voice and it’s a shame the story doesn’t allow her to tap as you just know she could do those routines. Jaw dropped during the stair scene, I didn’t know to expect that and when it started they were like tap dancing storm troopers advancing on the audience - marvellous! Only sad moment was pre-show when an elderly gentlemen fell down half a flight of stairs on his way to the circle, I couldn’t grab him in one but we stayed with him and his wife while the first aiders came. Spoke to the usher in the interval and he was taken to hospital, seemed ok just a bit shaken but he landed on his wrist and shoulder

Oh, I chatted to Clare afterwards, she said she was off on Friday because she caught the cold Ashley had last week and needed a night off just to get it under control. And don't forget guys and girls, if you wanna catch Steph, she is on for Maggie Jones innthe latter half of this coming week.

Bonnie scheduled to be on BBC’s One Show tomorrow evening at 7pm So presumably not performing tomorrow night then?! I chatted to Steph Parry after her final show as Dorothy. She said she has no scheduled shows, Bonnie is scheduled to do every show. So if she is on The One Show, it was unscheduled at the time of Steph's final show at least.

It's a 7.45pm start tomorrow at 42nd Street - presumably to allow Bonnie time to do the programme (or at least most of it) and then get back to the theatre.

They clearly need the publicity of The One Show for a ticket push! I am surprised after her high profile stint in EastEnders Bonnie has not shifted more tickets. Perhaps the public at large don't know she has gone into it? The show seems very quiet some nights with the upper levels closed! Such a shame!

Bonnie is excellent, but I’m not sure the public have ever thought of her as a musical theatre star.
(Lulu on the other hand...)

Sat in the studio in her opening scene outfit.

She's an old trouper isn't she? They don't make 'em like that anymore.

I was there last night and you couldn't tell she'd barely made it. Thought she gave a great performance and she was in fine voice. I've been meaning to see this for a while and Bonnie being cast gave me the last push. And though it's slightly perverse to cast Bonnie Langford in a non dancing role it reminds you how well she can sing and perform the songs.
I doubt I have much original to add, the story is paper thin, the script a collection of cliches but the songs and particularly the dancing are so joyous that none of that really matters.
Lister and Day both excellent as were the support and chorus and Halse sensational. I don't go to that many musicals but I'd definitely be interested in where she appears after this.

Is Bonnie doing all 8 shows? Yes, she is. I think all the Dorothy’s have done all 8 shows (even Lulu).
