She sold the show well. What happened to her Scottish accent? It was there underneath, noticeably towards the end of the interview.

Anyone concerned about the front row cheap seats being restricted view, I really think it may be cheap just because you won't get the whole dance routines in your eyesight rather a high stage. If you look on seat plan, as I was for my view from my seat, this is the view from AA13, where I am sitting: seatplan.com/london/theatre-royal-drury-lane/#seat-41637/

Sheena sounded quite squeaky in that interview didn't she, as in high pitched. With a Lulu-esque midlantic drawl (which even Lulu has finally given up on). I always thought Sheena was a bit of a madam but she came over quite well. Anyway I've booked for June based on the promised spectacle, so mission accomplished Sheena!

I'm surprised you thought they wouldn't be. Being in the front row of a stage that big, You never were going to see everything.
But who really knows until the show opens.

Oh no, I always knew it would be. I sat there for Charlie and you couldn't see everything going on, and a lot of stuff happened the same time in that show!

I've got AA. Decided to go for that rather than A as apparantly there is no rake in first 2 rows and I'm not that tall so lesser of two evils. My theory is if I really enjoy it I will go back again and buy a better seat.

I'm looking forward to seeing the 3rd preview next Wednesday! Anyone going to the same show, I am centre seat front row. Or is anyone seeing the first preview who will be able to report back?

Also going on the first Saturday. It's probably been about 10 years since I've seen a production of this, so very excited

I'm another one going on the first Saturday evening. I think on a previous reckoning nearly half the cheap front row seats are going to be occupied by board members!

Supporting the show or just taking advantage of the £15 tickets? Hopefully the £15 tickets will generate great word of mouth for the show and bookings will pick up.

^Both! In my case I intended to go anyway, as there is someone in the cast I'm a fan of, but being able to go for only £15 & without having to do crack of dawn day seating is a considerable bonus.

Booked for later in the run anyway but decided it would be good to catch it in previews too. Was going to book at standard prices for a preview but then found out about the £15 tickets

Cast of this appearing on The One Show tonight.... Thanks. I just spotted that in time to take a look. Difficult to really judge the dancing with the camera work all over the place but it seemed to look good. The costumes look like they've been recycled from A Chorus Line! Was the man who sang solo the one playing the Director? I rarely watch The One Show but every time I do I'm struck by what a strange mixture of subjects it includes. It's as if the producers have put all possible topics into a hat then drawn half a dozen at random for each show!

The only man who sang solo was Jake Gyllenhall, who was shown singing a song from 'Sunday in the park with George'

The man I'm referring to sang a couple of lines at the start of the 42nd Street number before all the ensemble started tap dancing.

At the very start of the show? That was only the chorus dancing. If they danced again then I didn't catch it.

Tom Lister, wasn't it, who is in the show! It was at the end of the One Show, when they all went back outside for the final number.
