I just saw Olivia Moore as Veronica in Heathers, she was brilliant and would be a great Zoe for DEH.

I don’t dislike Carrie at all but I have to agree that Zoe has a much purer sound than Carrie, who is a great belter. As the role doesn’t really demand for that, Olivia I can see working very well though.

I wasn’t aware that she had expressed an interest? Or are you just taking the opportunity for a bit of unsolicited Carrie-bashing as seems so popular at the moment?

I didn’t intend that to be a bash. It seems like a role that she would go for.

I want to go for this, but at the same time, I don't think I'm ready just yet.

Lovely. I shall be breaking my wrist so that I can get a plaster cast in anticipation.
I'm method. It's just the way I roll.

I want to go for this, but at the same time, I don't think I'm ready just yet. If you wanna go, go! Even if you don't get it, it's audition experience that will build your confidence and come in handy if it's something you wanna pursue in the future.

I want to go for this, but at the same time, I don't think I'm ready just yet. Oh you should go. And you might get cast! And then in years to come when you ignore us waiting at the stage door with programmes for you to sign and gifts of microwaves and other electrical goods and as you climb into your taxi and drive off, probably splashing us with a puddle as you do, we can say "we knew him back when"....

I want to go for this, but at the same time, I don't think I'm ready just yet. Go for it, if you wait until you think you’re ready you’ll never go to any auditions at all. You’ve got nothing to lose by going.

+1 to all the people saying go even if you don’t feel ready. And, in the interim, do as many other auditions as you can so you feel confident doing auditions.
It’s the same with job interviews. People wait for their perfect job/perfect company to come up and then are really surprised when interview nerves mean they don’t perform as well as they wanted.

Crazy we get 9 to 5, Waitress and Come From Away and Waitress so close together, then Mary Poppins and Dear Evan Hansen that close together too.

It's going to be simpler just to get my wages paid straight into Delfont Mackintosh's account, now, isn't it. I honestly cannot wait! See you there!

Let's have a theatre board group outing. We could get a decent discount.

Every young male musical theatre performer appears to have "auditioned" for this via YouTube with covers of You Will Be Found. It must be the most coveted role for a long time!

It’s like the male version of Elphaba or Jenna. But sadly, due to Waitress drafting in La McPhee, I have a feeling that one of the American Evans will originate the role in town, but I’m really hoping that it’ll go to someone like Luke Bayer.

Depends what Equity have to say about it and who they can send over in exchange.

Luke would be incredible as Evan. I saw him as Jamie past Wednesday matinee. Unless Ben Platt wants to do the role in the UK, I can't see the producers going with any of the other Evans from BWay. But as they did with Jamie, why can't Evan Hansen be a person of color?
