Is the last show sold out or not released? The matinee on the closing day has so many seats left...

I was there last night and the new stalls bar is open. Also they now have an accessibility lift for access to stalls. They’ve combined the former ladies and gents stalls toilets to a ladies with the gents now in the bar area.

I wish they'd tone down the music pre-show. Maybe the music here isn't really my thing so the volume was almost headache-inducing.
Some good performances all around and Tom Francis's voice is one of the standouts for me, which I'm missing from the cast recording.
Does anyone know if the Shaftesbury merch shop is accessbile outside show times / for non-ticketholders? I forgot to pick up a magnet.

Does anyone know if there is an &Juliet piano/vocal selections book available? I’m guessing not as I can’t find one and it being jukebox, but I thought I’d ask. I enjoy noodling on the piano to my favourite musical scores and I’ve got a few &Juliet moments earworming like crazy at the moment!

How curious - you'd think there would be, but I can't find anything either. Maybe this is difficult to put together, because, even though the songs are all nominally by the 'same person', there's a lot of co-writers involved too, and I imagine that clearing the rights with everybody was a big enough ask for the show, which they at least were definitely guaranteed to make some money from. I'm not sure how much money there is in piano/vocal selections when there would be so many people to divide the royalties between - and I presume the royalties are fairly low on these sorts of books anyway?

…but lots of the arrangements are substantially different from the original versions, meaning that there might be sn argument for somehow publishing them somehow/somewhere?

Saw this again last night, still love it.
The only thing for me is still the lead, she spends half the time hunched over acting/singing from her shoulders.

Does anybody keep a record of how many performances of & Juliet have been given over the past three years? I see Come From Away is about to hit the big 1000

I don't know if I've ever seen anyone say they enjoyed Miriam as Juliet. I wonder why we've never had a replacement. I can't say I thought she was bad when I went, but the alternates I've seen were far more enjoyable.

I've seen Zara and I preferred her.
Miriam has some good comedic moments, but she sings crouched over constantly and it really irritates me.
I liked the new May though.

I always found Miriam gets halfway through the week and then has nothing left in the tank to give, so by Friday is sounding pretty rough - both Zara and Grace were great for me, but it probably helps they aren't having to sing that score 7 times a week

I think Miriam is incredible - I've seen her in &Juliet many, many times (I love the show) and I've never seen her even vaguely phone it in - every performance is like a first night - she is really good and professional in my opinion.

I saw Miriam recently - bit apprehensive reading some of the comments here, and have only seen her in Hamilton previously - but thought she was fabulous. Lovely voice, some funny moments, and she has this smiley, beaming energy about her. The hunched over / I'm emoting pose would usually grate on me - it's especially overdone on TV - but I managed to overlook this.
That being said, I've not seen Zara or Grace in the role.

Miriam is very talented, and her voice is so strong- it is just the singing hunched over that I don't like. She is a great lead.

I saw yesterdays matinee, hoping to catch Miriam once more so of course she was out lol. Zara was on and I had seen her months ago and thought she was fine but she’s truly evolved in the role and maybe might be the best Juliet Ive seen, now. Was so happy to also see Tom as Romeo since he was out last time as well and yet again I was sort of blown away with him. Maybe the best Romeo I’ve seen, too?
Oliver and Cassidy were in a mood where they appeared to just want to have FUN yesterday and that makes all the difference for their performances and Cassidy even went full out on “That’s The Way It Is”, which she doesn’t always do anymore.
Special shout-out to Malinda Parris who was just an exceptional Nurse. For a show that’s about to close shop, they could all just be “done” with it but instead they’ve all just upped their game and made it one of the best performances I’ve seen in all the times I’ve seen this show that I (against all odds) absolutely adore.

I might be wrong but I think Miriam doesn't do Friday matinees?

I didn’t see anything on their website saying that but it would make sense if she didn’t. In any case I can’t be mad because I was so impressed with Zara.

Yep Zara does all the Friday matinees barring illness and holidays. And I agree she’s the best Juliet of the three I’ve seen (Miriam, Grace, Zara)

Does anyone know if there are any cast holidays in the next week, or anyone who has a scheduled day off?

Does anyone know if there are any cast holidays in the next week, or anyone who has a scheduled day off? Think Malinda Parris is off on Wednesday as Cassandra Lee is down to cover the wednesday performance and it should be the usual alternate performance for Zara as Juliet for the Friday Matinee.
