I don’t think there’s a market for Anastasia here if I’m honest. Agreed. Unless you, of course, do what any producer does to get the teenage girls in, cast Carrie Hope Fletcher as the lead*. *she'd be totally wrong for the role I think, so let's not put the juju out there.

Yeah I agree that Frozen must be announced soon and it'll have to go somewhere Like Drury Lane or the Palladium. Although what is going into the Prince Edward as it seems to have had success with the Disney shows

I like Carrie alot, but I don't want all her fangirls going along with it. Send her to a show that actually needs a boost that the fangirls can go with her too.

Frozen won't have to play any gimmicks like star casting in order to sell tickets. I would be surprised to see it happen at least when the show begins.

The only names that Frozen needs to sell tickets are “Anna” and “Elsa”. That said, Carrie would make a great Anna.

Wicked could use Carrie. It sells fine but needs that boost until the film comes out. Alice will probably leave July (as will Sophie, fingers crossed), and then Carrie can happily walk in. And knowing her, she will do a Les Mis and stick around for a couple years with Elphaba.

Well she's doing Heathers 8 times a week, and in my opinion, I'd argue that is a tougher sing than Elpaba. Mainly because, Elphaba has her three big songs but then the rest is somewhat easier to sing. Whereas Veronica is a big sing throughout. I think Carrie would be fine doing Wicked anyway but that may just be me.

I don’t see Anastasia, sure it’d fit in some of our theatres but I really can’t imagine it doing too well

Announcement for Dominion tonight - any thoughts? It'll either be an extension or a closing. If the theatre is the one making the announcement, I wouldn't be surpeised if its a new production going in. Where did you hear this?

My bet is on a January closing for Bat, seeing as half the West End is doing the same.
I guess a touring show will go in for a limited run first before anything long term does.

Yeah my thoughts too - trying to think what’s finishing in time to go in. See it's not just a case of what could go in, it's a case of what will sell well enough for that space. Because that theatre is a killer of productions because it is such a bitch to sell that theatre. American in Paris deserved so much more than it got. I'm still bitter. How about Frozen or My Fair Lady going to the Dominion??

How about Frozen or My Fair Lady going to the Dominion?? My Fair Lady at the Dominion would make a lot of sense because it's a huge success on Broadway and Nederlander are one of the producers. I don't think it'll come over until late 2019 or early 2020

Oh totally, it will be a limited run tour show I’m guessing, but yeah that theatre (like the Phoenix for some reason recently - bar Chicago) has a high casualty rate for some great shows

Then My Fair Lady for late 2019 I’d guess.

Surely it won't end end of its current booking period? January 5th, same day as 42nd Street and Eugenius?! What a dark week in the West End!

Why are they supporting this of all the shows in the West End? I get the whole Games supporting it or whatever, but why in the first place? Of all shows?! I don't get it.
