Have been searching on twitter for anyone congratulating anyone on starting something or 1st day rehearsals. Apprently one of the Knights of the rose cast started something yesterday and two actresses all in the same post. A few things started apparently and only one of which I found a cast list for but most tweeted that anyway. Did find the MD and Asst stage Manager who less than coy about it but then they arent the cast so.... I guess it's different. Hopefully soon it will be announced my sleuthing skills aren't great.

Tegan Bannister is an interesting choice as Eponine. She's already in the London cast. Does that mean they will have to replace her at the Queen's? She's second cover Eponine too.

Interesting to see Katie Hall as Fantine, I still hail her as the best principal Cosette I've seen. Haven't heard of most of the others!

Oooo the Black Widow of the West End Sophie-Louise Dann, they are sending her out on tour. A smart move by all accounts!

Loving the look of this full cast. Tempted to see them in Edinburgh but the prices are insane. Hoping the Festival Theatre will drop the price of any single seats closer to the day.

I seriously doubt it sadly. One of the most successful musicals, if not the most successful of all time, they won't have any discounts, I doubt it anyway.

They don’t even have the Young Scot concession for matinees which the Festival usually have. Just goes to show how popular it is.
I actually think they could have played the Edinburgh Playhouse just fine. It’s bigger, and would mean more people get to see the show.

Nic Greenshields tweeted a line from the show this morning and then deleted it so assuming he's in it! Looking forward to seeing him as Javert, I loved him as "the monster" in Young Frankenstein.

I wasn't going to see this tour but now the cast includes Martin Ball, Sophie-Louise Dann, Katie Hall & Nic Greenshields I guess I'll have to. I just wish they'd announced the cast before all three Saturday matinees in Leicester sold out.

Rebecca Lafferty is going to be 2nd Eponine / swing and Nicola Espallardo is joining the company I assume as Tegans track.

I don't really care about the casting. How small is the orchestra going to be?

Any chance that venues like Liverpool or Bradford might be announced before or by Christmas? I want to go with my sister but Manchester is practically sold out and we could probably only go on a Saturday matinee.
Which venues are doable to get to from Liverpool via train?

Birmingham and Newcastle are probably your best options based on the current tour venues. Personally I’m hoping that Liverpool may get a mention later on. Though the tour website doesn’t mention anything about further venues being announced. We can but hope!

Anyone know if the tour will be doing Bristol? Do hope so! Most likely one of the 2020 venues. If not, they'll definitely do Cardiff WMC and it's just across the Severn.

Sorry for the late reply but I finally found out it's the Theatre Royal it's going to be playing at.
Great, thanks for the info!
Expanding on my earlier 'take it with a pinch of salt' info about this tour playing the Theatre Royal in Glasgow, I've now been told off someone else from within the company that it is indeed playing here and it will also be the Christmas show for 2019 which the theatre has started doing the past 3/4 years. 4 weeks in December.

Thanks very much. That is good news as I'll definitely be in Glasgow over Christmas 2019 to catch this. I already have tickets for Newcastle in August, but no harm in going again (could even be a cast change after the first year).

Giving this a bump!
Was anyone at the 1st preview?
The last tour had such a buzz and a great freshness. Checking this one out for the 1st time in 3 weeks, can't wait. Have also subsequently booked for Manchesterford and Birmingham!

Hoping to hear some good reports about this. I’m hoping to hear ANY reports about this lol. Can’t believe for such a major tour, no one from the board has been yet. The last tour had the board buzzing from the 1st show. Guess the 25th anniversary version was brand new back then so there was more to talk about...
