Just heard from a friend in the show: All remaining tour dates this year have been cancelled.

Not vouchers but I asked for a refund on 18th May and it was credited to my card 28th May. Thanks Burly. Might change my mind and go for a refund. My reasoning for vouchers was for the promised priority booking when Les Mis comes back in 2022. My belief of that actually happening though (Les Mis returning and, if it does, them managing to remember to organise priority booking) is waning sadly. And tickets for this were pretty expensive so be very helpful back on my credit card. Do wonder what will happen with the tour. I'd love to see it up and running again but Cam Mac seems one of the lesser hopeful producers at the mo. Its an impossible decision. if its back with distancing, as its sold out, a priority booking can't be successful for most people if the seat count is down. If its back with less distancing without the prority booking you won't get a seat. I have 4 for Canterbury and 1 for Birmingham and neither theatre can afford to refund, so I am just going to wait.

I got an email this morning with my voucher and access to priority booking for Bristol. There are less dates than in the original run - it runs from May 17 to June 5 now next year. There weren't a lot of seats available - I wonder if they only released a small number of seats, or if everyone else was that much faster at booking this morning? But I got front row seats again, which was really all I wanted.
Edit: In fact, checking a few more dates, only the right half of the auditorium is on sale, and only about half the seats there.

Hi. Don’t suppose it said when general or ATG priority booking would be?!

All the email said was "You will now have one week of exclusive priority access to the rescheduled dates before the show goes on sale again."

I have 2 bookings for Bristol, the one originally for 10 April 2020 was transferred to the same seats on 21 May 2021 but I have to rebook the one originally for 1 May 2020 apparently.

With a number of gaps early on, it seems that many of the rescheduled tour dates have now been fixed www.lesmis.com/uk-ireland-tour/tour-datesNot sure about elsewhere, but Leeds drops from four weeks to three. You'll be overjoyed with the schedule for Christmas 2022, iamamazing! 😉

Does anyone know why they have cancelled the final day of performances in Glasgow on Saturday 1st January 2022? I had fantastic seats, it had sold very well, and it’s the only day I could go. Shame. The production is now running up to, and including, Friday 31st December 2021.

The production is now running up to, and including, Friday 31st December 2021. Because they have to pay FOH and BOH staff double time and public transport is off on New Year’s Day so the house agreement is that taxis have to be provided if there’s no public transport. They couldn’t come to an agreement with the show to cover these costs so they’ve cancelled them. The matinee has been moved to another date but they haven’t found a suitable replacement for the evening yet. For once, working in Glasgow theatres has helped me answer a question on here lol

Sigh. Will Callan as Marius, professional theatre debut, lists his playing age range as 14-18.
Nathania Ong as Eponine, Mountview Graduate 2021. Does at least have a credit in Be More Chill. I guess that makes her experienced enough for Les Mis.
Paige Blankson as Cosette, Arts Ed Graduate, making her, sigh, professional debut.
Imagine the ensemble will be packed full of kids again. Well, that's the tour out for me.

His previous theatre roles have been in amateur productions.

Harry Apps had no professional experience or training and I think he did a really good job.

Marius, Cosette and Eponine should be fresh-faced youngsters, to be fair. At least they haven't gone down the Heathers route and cast 30-year-olds. As long as they can sing it, surely it's fine.

Time will tell regarding the new Marius’ ability to perform 8+ performances per week without formal training.

... with Earl Carpenter in the ensemble? It is a tough business. I hope they all have a strong union to make sure they get a fair share of the millions these shows make.

Earl could never sing JVJ, he's not a vocally appropriate at all (or even a tenor) for that - but you're almost definitely right about being Javert cover though.
