Well that’s great news- I had heard the NT- but delighted it’s getting a west end outing!

I’m overjoyed! I also love that it’s moving into another brutalist style building 🥳

So glad to see this transfer to Gillian Lynn.
Wonder if that means the Olivier is going to get another run of Hex!

It would fit very well at the Gillian Lynne but i think it’s another ALW going in after SoR according to the SoR thread. Just sayin’…

So glad to see this transfer to Gillian Lynn. Wonder if that means the Olivier is going to get another run of Hex! It’s the new Christmas tradition. Bring the family to celebrate the season by watching babies being eaten. Fa La La La La La La La La.

I agree with what other's have said that The Gillian Lynne is the perfect West End venue for this show. One of the few theatres with a very wide open stage where the feel of the National Olivier can be re-created. (And also a theatre with a lot of concrete - perfect!)
I look forward to seeing this one again.

I think the entirely unjustified use of the adjective "shrieking" before "Liberian refugees" in that Spectator piece tells you far more about the reviewer than the play.

^That art will look quite good on the front of the GL.

It's a bit too much like Sheffield Wednesday blue for my liking. And the Daily Express critic has misspelt 'play'.

Does anyone know whether this’ll be the same cast as the National? They were exceptional & id love to see them again.

Disappointed that Faith Omole isn't returning, she was so good last time.

If you're not going to have Alex Young, Laura Pitt-Pulford is absolutely the person to get instead, so I'm thrilled by that.
Lauryn Redding will be utterly magic in this too as Nikki - might even find Nikki slightly bearable this time!

I’m sad the old cast isn’t returning in its entirety. I’m thrilled that Joel Harper-Jackson is playing Harry though. Just imagining him singing FYLGST is already making me emotional!

gutting to see many of the prior cast not returning - hoping it’s a chance of they were offered and turned it down instead of the alternative

This was the stand out show of the year for me (with Next to Normal trailing closely behind). I was hoping it would be the same cast as at the National, as I can't imagine how any other actors could be any better, but I'm sure they'll be just as good. I thought more of them would do the West End run, being associated with such a brilliant and highly regarded production, but in a way, maybe some fresh faces with some of the old cast will be just as amazing. I hope so.
