Two one act musicals without a real link between them other than the obvious. I like the score, first half very Viennese, second half very eighties contemporary, decent lyrics too. I saw the West End transfer from the Bridewell (1997), looks like this is the same director. It might work but needs to be properly thought through, not just by changing pronouns.
Tony Awards clip, with bonus Angela Lansbury seemingly wearing a pair of curtains.

The late lamented Landor pub theatre did a decent production of it a few years back. As CP says, the score is quite strong but for me the book is less so. Dramatically the first playlet works best though the plot situation is a familiar one. The second is more fun but less cogent and ultimately unconvincing.

I know i saw it because it had Linzi Hately in it, but i remember very little about it. It only lasted a few weeks! It seemed more suited to a small venue rather then a west end stage.
It been rewritten for 2 men rather than a man and woman i believe. Its an interesting choice for above the stag.

There was a terrible TV version of the last Broadway production which used to be readily available on YT. For some reason I thought Gemma Craven was in it but she was in the terrible TV version of She Loves Me, also readily available on YT. Scott Bakula & Alison Fraser were in this on Broadway. This looks interesting.
