Don’t think I have read a negative regional newspaper of a show in absolute years....perhaps see themselves as supporting the local community with their positivity?

There was no ad libbing from what I could tell. Admittedly Colleen did enter to applause as I am sure as the performance had already been on for an hour and a quarter the audience were glad to see her!

Really poor form from whoever manages Coleen's Twitter today: Review in question: ilovemanchester.com/review-the-thunder-girls-lowry/The quote: "It would work better if there were scenes with younger actors playing the band when they were girls. The reunion scenes when they appear as jaded and angry older women would then have more bite and fire." I think the whole review is really fair, and the way this quote is being misconstrued by those in the show is pretty gross, especially when the reviewer is just suggesting that having younger actors for the flashbacks would make the scenes stronger, not implying that it should be younger actors full stop.

Coleen ad-libbing? Forget the script, let’s just make it up as we go along.Have worked with some am-dram musical directors who would have a seizure if such shenanigans were happening on the lead into a song...maybe it’s spontaneous improv MT? Btw,from what I know of him,Glenn has always struck me as a very fair and impartial reviewer.

That comes across as so big headed, especially as the twitter account it's posted from is Coleen's! She needs to have a word with the person who tweets on her behalf (her 'Ghost Tweeter'?)!

I’m picturing Christopher Nolan scoping out talent for his next blockbuster and MikeNolanfromBucksFizz waiting for ‘I’m In The Mood For Dancing’.

I was lucky enough to be at the sold out , The Thunder Girls Premiere at the Lowry . I personally thought it was a very funny and entertaining show . Yes it is a Preview so there is bound to be the odd tweek needed here and there , thats understandable . Coleen Nolan did a fantastic job in her first acting role as did all the cast .I personally would have liked to have heard abit more singing but then again it is a play ( with music ) rather than a musical so they had the right balance . The performances i attended the whole audience were up on their feet clapping and singing along . Congratulations to Melanie Blake and team .

I like your sense of humour Shady23 lol , but assure you i have no connection to Coleen or any member of "The Thunder Girls" team , just an honest critique of what i considered to be a very good show xxx

Beverley Callard has just announced on Loose Women that Thundercats Girls will be touring next year (with Beverley and Coleen Nolan in the cast).

ANYONE: "Absolutely *insert superlative here*"
How is this legal? Also, they don't know how to hold a microphone?
