The cast are really knackered, from what they were saying at stage door.

MB not ill. Vinny replaced Bradely on both shows.
JOJ getting even better as if it's possible.

Michael does sound a bit throaty at times. And sings Javert's Suicide slower than the staged production Javerts do. He usually sounds better sparring with JOJ than with Alfie, you can hear the passion and anger on both sides.
How was Vinny?

I understand the sentiment but really no need to @ him as he will get copied into all the replies.

MB not ill. Binny replaced Bradely on both shows. JOJ getting even better as if it's possible. Bradley Jaden posted on social media he was in Manchester watching On Your Feet. So I assume he had a planned holiday. Someone said further up about people who booked for the original last performance would be fuming. I am in this category, and I did book this performance hoping everyone would be on top form, going out on a high. And for the atmosphere of the final show. But to be honest, I didn't pay any extra for 30th Nov (£97 front stalls), and couldn't have gone in London on 2nd Dec anyway. So at least now, I can see the show live live, and then two days later see the show again cinema live.

Bradely's vocal cords had a well-earned rest, then. I always wondered how he could perform 8 shows a week at that rate, but he has so far.
Vinny - not Binny, sorry - was underpowered, on both vocal and charismatic fronts. But I was still happy to see an understudy being given a chance to have a go.

MB said, during a little charity speech at curtain call, that the matinee was Vinny's first Enjolras show today. For Bradley not to have missed a show with all the bugs going through the cast, is pretty amazing.
It was my first visit and I thought it was a stunning production. There were tears streaming down my face at numerous occasions!
I though MB and JOJ were outstanding. They had a real presence about them and worked very well together. My first time seeing JOJ in anything and I was very impressed!
I absolutely loved Shan Ako was Eponine. I don't think I have ever heard On My Own sang any better. She has such an incredible voice.
Loved Matt and Katy as the Thenardier's and they certainly had the audience laughing.
Carrie was excellent. I was very impressed.
The rest of the cast, ensemble and band... incredible.
I had a standing ticket and my legs were aching so much afterwards but for the price and the view it was certainly worth it. The only dampner was that some of the standees kept slumping down and trying to sit due to tired legs. They were repeatedly told to get up by front of house staff. One of the senior staff came over to us in the interim and talked at us (very loudly!) that this was not allowed, we had standing tickets, it's against the licence, show will have to be stopped, you will be thrown out etc. Half of the stalls heard her and were looking and pointing which was embarrassing, especially as she was addressing this to everyone and kept looking at those in the middle, when we had stood throughout. It was only the couple on both sides who kept sitting down. These who sat down at the other side of the line were completely oblivious to what she was saying as we was too far away.

I thought the website said that he wasnt performing that weekend anyway. It's all very confusing. I'm going on Friday which according to the website has Ball and Boe. But is Alfie still sick?

I've also got a ticket for 30th (but the matinee). A group of my friends are booking tickets for the Monday cinema screening too and I must admit I did think of maybe trying to sell my London ticket, but I might as well go, seeing as I've had the ticket for over six months . My mates aren't mad theatre goers and I keep telling them it's a concert version but I'm not sure they really understand the difference.

He was performing this week, was off one day sick (lurgy going around, Matt Lucas was off too) and was scheduled not to be performing his weekend but I heard some people grumbling in the theatre he wasn't there. Every page I clicked on when buying a ticket for Saturday clearly said he was not performing, I don't think the production could have done any more to keep people informed of the schedule.

has anyone tried/managed to book standing tickets for any show during the final week? just wondering if they're greyed out because they haven't been released for sale yet, or if they've been released and completely sold out

If they're casting big names they may book arenas!

If they're casting big names they may book arenas! I didn't think about that.

I would imagine it'll be an arena tour.
One night, big venues. Only need Ball & Boe, Lucas signed on again and it'll sell.
Can't see a concert version, in smaller theatres with no names, fairing amazingly well seeing as the fully staged production is still touring!!

What a vague website for the cinema version! Signed up for alerts as on the day it announced my local vue wasn’t showing it on their website. Not heard anything via email, checked vue today and it’s already sold out. So annoying. Luckily am seeing the tour on the 5th in WMC anyway but would have liked to have seen this concert. Ah well

What a kerfuffle. No screening at my local so looked at a nearby one and it’s nearly sold out! I got a seat but technically a wheelchair companion seat so I may have to give it up if needed!

Cineworld aren’t showing the concert screening, so guess I won’t be going!
