Has anyone used this? Basically you pop in your location and it lets you buy food from bakeries, salad shops etc that have spare stuff left at the end of the day for reduced prices within a specific time window e.g all the branches of Paul offer leftovers for about £2 at 7pm ish.
I thought it was interesting as many of the locations are in the West end and close around theatre times!
But I'm nervous I'll turn up expecting a baguette and end up being given a binbag of bread rolls or be told they don't know that I'm on about!

Seems a bit of a hassle for the staff to list items online.
Wouldn't it just be easier to just put a reduced tag on them in store?

It’s a growing niche. Olio started it (it was P2P, i don’t know if they went B2C), now there’s Karma too. Karma has some quite high end places on it. I am tempted every day by posts from Hackney Gelato and their 4.5lt tubs of ice cream!

This sounds like a great idea! May I never install it and end up a glutton!

I've downloaded it as it sounds interesting. Plus this yorkshireman loves a bargain! However my guardian reading self would prefer the food to be given to charity

On Karma it tends to be specific stuff. The independent pizza place next to my old work was on it, we used it loads, and got plenty of good stuff and half price.
