Good news...if people on the board aren’t fussed about going then the queues will be just that little bit shorter,lol.Seriously,though,agree that Traf Square is not big enough.Wonder where they could put it if it moved?

Hyde Park? That's the nearest bigger space I can think of that hosts events. Much less convenient for most of the theatres though.

I think some have suggested before charging a small fee. It's nice it's free but it would put people off just wandering in for 10 minutes and make it less cramped.

I've been every year except the first [ because I didn't know about it ] and the last year at Leicester Square [ because I was so broke I couldn't afford the bus fare]. However every year I find you have to get there earlier & earlier. I think this may be my last year going as it is getting too much for me to stand for so long & being wedged in the crowds.

When it was in Leicester Square you could dayseat something nearby and still get in in time for the big acts. Now it’s such a palaver to queue to get in it doesn’t feel like much fun.

Just had a look at the twitter feed for WEL and they have posted that the schedule will be announced by the end of this week. Hopefully the weather will be better next weekend than what it currently is.

Well it's looking good weather wise at the moment. 23/24c both days and sunny spells. No rain forecast.
But of course that can change as still over a week to go.

Seems I shall be going to the ball after all as I have an invite to the VIP area on Sunday. Line up is not as good as Saturday as expected but there is still some great stuff there. Looking forward to seeing On Your Feet and Ballet Boyz and especially Falsettos now I've seen the cast.
