Including Judi Dench, Derek Jacobi, Charles Dance, Anne Reid, Patricia Routledge and (Yes!) Gyles Brandreth, amongst many others: Fane Productions
I would be interested in the Charles Dance event but I'm out of the country on that day, and I've seen both Judi and Derek being interviewed before so not sure if I'd want to fork out the sort of money they are asking for to see them again (I still don't know when I'm going to get round to reading the signed Jaocbi book which seemed like a great idea to buy at the time...) but I'm sure there is something of interest for lots of people on here?

Those prices are insane.
The Judi Dench one is just before my Mum's birthday so I thought it would be nice to take her out to lunch and then go to that but even the second price stalls are £65! I saw her interviewed at the National once, I think it was £10.
The Anne Reid/Derek Jacobi one which sounds fun isn't quite as bad but still top price at £85!

Are we being asked to boost their pensions? Don’t get me wrong, I would happily do that. But I would prefer to see a good play with them in it. I suppose being in a play is just too hard now and being interviewed is ok. Something in me, though, prefers to keep that distance between me and the creatives, especially actors, to not break the mystery. They channel other people's words. Will their own be as interesting? Not in all cases, I’m afraid.
On a banal note, I expect they saw what a sell out McKellen's one man chats are.

I quite fancy the Jason Robert Brown one after seeing him at the Palladium last year and it was excellent I agree. However in 2 weeks time I am heading home to Australia for 6 weeks and it's on the night after I get back. It all really depends on the level of jet lag.

£85 in the stalls for a TALK?! What are they thinking??
I've booked to see one of them but I'm not paying any more than £20 for a talk, so the gallery it is.
